You are SO right! I've gained followers in droves lately (and I know they're not following me for my money) 😂
The upsides from this are enormous! Talks have started about more improvements to the platform, the followers, the dialogues, support and messages of encouragement - more ups than downs from all this.

I actually witnessed him going world war 10 with a bunch of whale...they were flagging each others and downvoting like crazy ... it was scary actually!!! I remember writing in a comment ..."please don't hurt me" lol
I tell you they were throwing nukes at each others..wow..who knows where that post is now, maybe under the pile of s....lol
but also I remember having a good impression of who Bernie is by what he was saying in the comments
he is actually a good person that what I made of him
so remember that before in case you didn't know bernie got superflagged I mean I think his reputatio is -12?? lol but they can't take away his steem power with the flags
Ultimately I think that we should be more focused on the platform then ourselves
I remember recently the guy from bitcoin cash mr Ver i think got in a rant with dev journalist guy while skyping and he got mad cause the journalist kept calling it "bcash" lol ....lol
and this is the founder of bcash I mean bitcoin cash
God bless their heart and protect them :)
I am worried in the end more about the gov and the elite because they represent the real danger and problems to come
I hope these young men are being prepared for the inevitable attack
Let me first state that its terrible to your audience to put such cuteness and cleverness into one screen. Sir Lunch AND Tech Slut? I can't even . i actually had to take an hour and get on my pc so I could fully respond to this.
AND MOST IMPORTANT. Lets settle this : Many have power and are girls. BUT THERE IS ONLY ONE #teamgirlpowa ! @teamgirlpowa is that odd looking super deranged slow turtle making its way through this platform. We are shooting for Pluto and we wont settle for Mars.

That's good to hear :) And I'm glad I'm part of this change, not that I'm contributing TO the change, but I am contributing as a content creator.
And to think I was sceptical about it at first and didn't want to hear about it when my husband suggested I join. I'm glad he insisted.
I too contribute as a content creator. I helped a bit with writing the description for steemmakers, translations for open source projects on utopian and lots of insightful comments on other's posts.
Steemit is not built for any specific type of content. It's build for ALL content. Which makes it that much harder to use for content consumers. That is changing, and when it does? I might go back to writing more original fiction posts and trying to become @michelle.gent . Till that happens, I will be behind the scenes, trying to help this community work together to increase the value of steem and get rewarded for creating awesome content.

That is very commendable of you to put so much time into this platform.
I wouldn't know anything about how to make it better, I have ideas, but I've been here only 6 months, almost. But I post a lot, and I comment a lot, and I write a lot and share a lot, sometimes TMI territory stuff haha But if I can contribute ideas that can spark more ideas to better the platform, you can bet I'm on it, if an idea hits me of course.
It all sounds optimistic and you seem very motivated when you talk :)
