My Happy Life on STEEMIT

In only 20 days, steemit has become my most visited site, taking more than 80% of my online time. Previously I spent most of my time on Whatsapp, sometimes aimlessly chatting with friends asking about what they were doing, or browsing through instagram liking funny pictures and pictures of art, then binging on youtube videos when I got really bored.

Looking back this was just a vicious pattern out to rob me of my oh so limited and overpriced data, but at least once in a while, I got to learn new things at a very high cost!!

The Revelation

I'll be forever grateful to @celineaugustinee for introducing me to steemit, in just 20 days I have learned a lot of things, made new friends @lordjames, @edumurphy @jsonkidd, @prettyjules158, developed new interests Smartphone photography, expressed my self and earned a few bucks in the process too. Lol.

Steemit for me

Definitely, I have not explored the full potential of steemit, but steemit has helped

• increase my creative prowess... I wasnt much of a writer or sharer on other social networks, I never knew I could write as much to keep people interested but here you are! I am a smartphone photographer now - oh yes, thats a thing - seeing my beautiful environment in a different way. Thank you steemit

• defining my desires... my most primal desire in life is to become wealthy. In my research on how to achieve this I learned that the quickest way to everything you've ever asked for is through appreciation i.e. love. Steemit is filled with appreciation, users get to appreciate (upvote) each other for their work, and get paid while doing so. Never have I witness such effective application of appreciation.

• exploding new ideas... steemit is a galaxy full of opportunities; and I have barely explored one planet. The world of block chain, crypto currencies and crypto trading is the pretty new to me, there is evidence everywhere of their potential but I want to learn as much as I can before investing.

Why these rants??

This post is to serve as inspiration to newly hatched minnows to show them just a tiny bit of what can be achieved here on steemit.
To whom it may concern, welcome to steemit my friend, a place of ever growing happiness. Take your time to go through the welcome page, I find myself going back there time and again because I was eager to make my first post.

It'll also help to engage yourself in contests, you can look up @sillentkiller, @thepassenger, @bycoleman, @mermaidvampire, they provide fun contests.

Busy.org has a more user friendly interface for making posts and also provide notifications so you see who followed you and lots more.

Smartsteem provides a platform for buying and selling upvotes on their website smartsteem.com

Steemfollower provides a platform for which upvotes good posts.

Steemsecrets has a lot of useful tips on her blog.
