Good day Steemian and welcome to today's Steem price update for 30/6/2023.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price's and recent STEEM changes for over 6 years.

If you tire of addictively looking at the charts every few minutes then instead just relax and look here for the average STEEM price for your daily plan or strategy.
And even if you are not planning to do anything with your STEEM I still recommend checking out these updates every so often.
So without further ado lets take a look at today's Daily Steem Price for 30/6/2023.

June 2023 Marks us already halfway into the year, the Government starts trials on universal basic income schemes. This isn't the UBI for those who don't have jobs but it means everybody will get this wage. UBI as been in the works for many years some think this will solve many problems while others believe it will cause more of them, it could also very well destroy the value of any currency who takes this scheme up. As for Steem we previously had a big fall that took it down to $0.14 and with such a fall this helped us with collecting more Steem for our main goal this year. In 2023 what we are aiming for is to finally reach Orca or in other words this means holding a total of 50k Steem Power, this as so far been a 6 year project. Also if you want Steem to be a success or just looking to earn more you should vote mostly on those who do not power down. Powering down lowers the value of Steem, meaning it lowers the value of your investment or the Steem that you earn from posting. My account is a example as one of the very few on here who is not powering down rewards. I also buy into Steem often, your votes encourage me to keep on buying even more so keep them coming as buying also helps rise the price of Steem. By voting on these posts we try to protect and raise the price of Steem, we also plan to use this to buy even more when the price goes up. During the bitcoin downwave from 60k it also sadly took down the value of SBD's, however SBD's have done a excellent job at holding around that important $3 mark for many months. My hope is that SBD's will once again secure this value for when Steem does eventually go back up again. As for Steemit the Team they are having better results with smaller curation teams, around 4 or 5 people per team. This means there is less room for curator positions and so competition to apply as been tougher, however it's said that the rewards will be greater. Tron as been once again not appearing in our wallets it looks like a general issue but it's probably connected to the fact that TRX will once again be reduced going from the ratio of 1 Steem to 0.25 TRX or in other words meaning that will be 0.25 TRX for every 1 Steem Power earned. Not going to lie I feel this kind of sucks I'm wondering now if they will continue to lower it until it will be zero. The cost of living is spiralling upwards the reasoning said for all these high prices is the war in the Ukraine, guess we must be literally getting almost every single thing from 2 very specific countries. The on-going war is a terrible moment in our history, they attack, strike up fear, call-out threats and cast sadness into the lives of many. A war that if we are not too careful could just be what spells the beginning of the end. Best keep an eye on those politicians and refuse war at all costs, as continued provocation is on-going "we do NOT want WW3" but perhaps to stop that it may be already much too late.

Last night I went to sleep past the usual late hour, this was because I was reading a long article on possible terrorist attacks within country. I slept well most of the night however I did initially have some trouble falling asleep not exactly sure why but I was feeling some weight on my chest, I hope this is either down to the humidity or hayfever and not something more serious. This morning I did wake-up before my alarm but it was only briefly not sure why, and so I went back to sleep until my alarm. I rested for a little longer past it which felt like enough, I didn't have work to get in for this time so could do this for longer if I wanted. But did have plans to meet with friends later in the day I'm meeting them down town and so wanted to still at least get some things done. As for the morning weather it's been mostly cloudy, I don't believe it will be enough for it to rain but perhaps later it will if it continued going this way. However the sun was trying it's best as it continued to get warmer. I'm kind of glad this is the type of weather we have at the moment as I hope like this it will help settle down my hayfever but what I seem to be getting instead is something that feels a bit like asthma which is worrying. Even this morning I could feel some slight symptoms of this which I didn't initially feel when I woke up. I got started with doing some chores, considered looking into getting some Steem but unfortunately I still had half of the bills to pay which I done today. I somehow also managed to game a bit before leaving and lastly I went on Steemit. Once my free time was up I started getting ready to go meet with friends down town. On the way the sky was darker and there was more wind. I had a jacket on which I have not had to do in like 3 weeks or more and even with that was a little worried I might get too cold. There was some drops of rain along the way but barely noticeable, however I did notice that sudden drop in temperature, but it wasn't cold enough to cause concern. My hayfever started on Thursday June 8th I have so far had 2 bad experiences this year but on June 25th that was the worst day so far this year. It was in the end severe and it took me a few days to recover from it, mostly my eyes were the most affected and later my breathing. On the way to seeing friends I didn't really feel any hayfever symptoms which was great. When meeting with friends they wanted to go and get food but I reminded them that they mentioned we had came here for a reason, the insane thing is they couldn't remember... After thinking for a few moments I remembered and we checked a few shops for some books they needed. While doing this I found a shop selling clothing at really insanely good prices and told my friends we need to come here again, in the end I liked a jacket I found so much that I decided to buy it. We also found some DVD's going at bargain prices and after that we went in the hunt for this key shop that my friends wanted to visit last time. It was honestly very hidden and the map was saying it was on the roof of this building which we got into a went all the way to the top to only find a car park. We found it in the end because I was persistent, but like before it was closed before we could make it there. So with that adventure we went for food, I really enjoyed the meal but one of my friends started to feel a little strange and so unfortunately we had to cut the meal a little short. They were feeling better once home and we stayed for a while chatting before I finally left which was already pretty late. Apart from a couple of weirdos on their bikes outside one of the buildings it was mostly quiet out n the way back home which was the same for down town. Talking to my father the other evening we came to the conclusion I need to visit soon in order to get some things organised. I have now booked a trip to go see him but this will only be in August and it's not for long because it was all a last minute thing.
