Good day Steemian welcome to today's Steem price update for 28/3/2019 I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price's and changes for just over 2 years now.

I also want to mention just incase your wondering when perhaps something doesn't seem normal from the other regular Price update posts that the daily Steem price posts do occasionally change it's format from time to time.

But regardless of changes we will carry on as usual and by this I mean knowing the price of Steem as it's important for your daily plan or strategy and honestly even if you are not planing to do anything with your Steem I still recommend checking out these updates and keeping an eye on the price, so without further ado lets take a look at today's Daily Steem Price Change for 28/3/2019

Should you be trading with Steem today...?

If you didn't catch the thank you announcement post I want to say thank you and to everybody else who gave their support on getting us to dolphin, we finally achieved this after 30 months! I'm sure once the price goes up it will be more helpful to us all. If you still got any extra support or power left then let's kick-off this new dolphin powered ship with a great boost! And so this March 10th we have seen Steem reach peak at $0.55 along with SBD's which also had a 2019 record breaker on March 13th with it's highest peak at $1.41. With Bitcoins 3 days ago it fell further down then the usual bumps between $3970 and $4000 this time falling to under the $3870 line giving the impression we might get away from the original pattern.. but nope seems like we are back to how it was 11 days ago. As you know we beat the January high reaching $0.55. While we have been mostly above $0.45 lately we are already in a good place, Steem as been seen around position #40 amongst all the other cryptos. 3 days ago Steem started falling which was no surprise as Bitcoin also fell on the day but while Bitcoin recovered Steem as not so much with even 2 days ago Steem going down lower then the expected pattern to $0.41. As for today Steem started at $0.44 and was pretty solid again until around ⏰04.35 when it burst to $0.45 and somehow didn't reach $0.46. Regardless it dropped down very slowly until reaching ⏰10.00 from there it mostly jumped between $0.44 and $0.45 with the rough average as you see above. Anyway if not too much happens in 2019 then I hope those who are still in the game will take the opportunity to keep collecting Steem. No longer in survival mode the conclusion from all this is to continue cutting of the costs of nodes. Hivemind is now live the "steemd" instance size's went from 488GB RAM to now shockingly 61GB RAM! Focus is on a multi index RocksDB adapter which is a new technology in development to allow the Steem blockchain nodes to store almost all of it's necessary data to a disk in a modern database instead of RAM, this move will make nodes cheaper. Ned also said that the cost reduction progress will still remain above the creation of SMT's which I feel is the right move. Did you know that after the wallet split from steemit.com is complete that both logged in and non-logged in users will see the adds on Steemit.com, I would rather not but understand this is part of keeping us out of survival mode if it was to happen again. Steem is also available for trading on the Huobi marketplace so if you are a U.S. resident just go to huobi.com, if you are anywhere else you could try Huobi global at hbg.com. Also if you still don't understand how your private keys work or are relatively new to Steemit you can go to the Steemitblog account for a more recent official explanation. For SBD's they broke record March 13th reaching $1.41. Currently SBD's are at a "normal" pegged rate, they started today at $1.02 so it's a shame to see it back at $1.00 anyway it was holding on to $1.02 just about until ⏰04.10 which was also closely when Steem dropped. But yea SBD's dropped to $1.01 it the value until ⏰06.10 when it went down to $1.00 and then $0.98 by ⏰07.00. At ⏰10.15 SBD's pulled out of $0.98 onto $0.99 and things looked good from ⏰16.00 till ⏰19.15 as SBD's where back at $1.02 unfortunately it didn't hold and here we are $1.00.
