Good day Steemian and welcome to today's Steem price update for 26/5/2023.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price's and recent STEEM changes for over 6 years.

If you tire of addictively looking at the charts every few minutes then instead just relax and look here for the average STEEM price for your daily plan or strategy.
And even if you are not planning to do anything with your STEEM I still recommend checking out these updates every so often.
So without further ado lets take a look at today's Daily Steem Price for 26/5/2023.

May 2023 Sweden became the winners of the Eurovision song contest and a new King had he's coronation. The government says it's not a matter of if.. but when.. they will roll out their digital currency. As for Steem we previously had a big fall that took it down to $0.14 and with such a fall this helped us with collecting more Steem for our main goal this year. In 2023 what we are aiming for is to finally reach Orca or in other words this means holding a total of 50k Steem Power. Also if you want Steem to be a success or just looking to earn more you should vote mostly on those who do not power down. Powering down lowers the value of Steem, meaning it lowers the value of your investment or the Steem that you earn from posting. My account is a example as one of the very few on here who is not powering down rewards. I also buy into Steem often, your votes encourage me to keep on buying even more so keep them coming as buying also helps rise the price of Steem. By voting on these posts we try to protect and raise the price of Steem we also plan to use this to buy even more when the price goes up. During the bitcoin downwave from 60k it also sadly took down the value of SBD's, however SBD's have done a excellent job at holding around that important $3 mark for many months. My hope is that SBD's will once again secure this value for when Steem does eventually go back up again. As for Steemit the Team is trying something different as they experiment with smaller curation teams, around 4 or 5 people per team. This means there is less room for curator positions and so competition to apply was tougher, however it's said that the rewards will be greater. Tron as been appearing correctly in our wallets, however the TRX rewards are distributed less often, it can take 2 or 3 days sometimes even longer but at least we are getting them. The cost of living is spiralling upwards the reasoning said for all these high prices is the war in Ukraine, guess we must be literally getting almost every single thing from 2 very specific countries. The on-going war is a terrible moment in our history, they attack, strike up fear, call-out threats and cast sadness into the lives of many. A war that if we are not too careful could just be what spells the beginning of the end. Best keep an eye on those politicians and refuse war at all costs, as continued provocation is on-going "we do NOT want WW3" but perhaps to stop that it may be already much too late.

Last night I went to sleep at the usual late hour this was because I was very busy not only catching up with everything since being unwell but also in preparation for seeing my friends. Since I'm still feeling unwell I need all the sleep I could get so it's a little disappointing going so late put if lucky that means I wont need to get as much done for today. I managed to sleep well last night which I kind of expected since I was feeling better from this stupid cold. This morning was another where I was happy not to wake-up before my alarm, at least this way I was taking full advantage of getting all the sleep I could get. I was then sleeping past my alarm but not for that long and actually I still got out of bed much earlier than yesterday and without much fuss as I was feeling well rested. When I initially woke up I was a little disappointed that I wasn't feeling as good as I hoped, guess it's still yet to be another day of recovery, I can't complaint as it's better than how it felt yesterday and right now I need to take any improvements over this cold I can get. This morning we have gone back to having a very sunny start which I'm glad to see but worried this now means tomorrow it will be cloudy or even worse. However with the sun being out this morning I still had to reach for a extra layer which I didn't have to do yesterday when the day began instead cloudy. I got started with doing a few chores, like yesterday I had much to do and to get organised in preparation for meeting with friends, I did log on Steemit, managed to do a little bit of gardening and had to organise meet-ups for people. Yesterday I had an extra day off that I didn't expect to get nor did I request but thank goodness I had it for whatever reason, but it was so useful to have, I definitely think I would be in such a mess today if I didn't have it. I tried last evening with no luck but tried again this evening to talk with my father as I have not been able to since being unwell, I'm surprised he was not annoyed I had not made contact these past days. When last in work our newest superior came to see me and said he had some updates for me which I assumed was he's way of telling me he wanted the report on he's desk. Instead he gave 2 extra big jobs to get done and yes he wanted that report in before he or I leave work. When he came to me later needed the report by that time I had it done and passed it over to him. Had a feeling he would start looking over it and before he left he said I raised some really good points and was very happy with the report. However I can't help that it annoys me slightly that this is work he will be presenting to he's superiors and so he will get the credit for it lol. This cold really hasn't been of great timing as I have plans with friends coming up soon and really didn't want to be so unwell around this time. I should now be well enough to meet with them even today under 1 hour being awake I was feeling tired.
