Good day Steemian and welcome to today's Steem price update for 21/4/2023.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price's and recent STEEM changes for over 6 years.

If you tire of addictively looking at the charts every few minutes then instead just relax and look here for the average STEEM price for your daily plan or strategy.
And even if you are not planning to do anything with your STEEM I still recommend checking out these updates every so often.
So without further ado lets take a look at today's Daily Steem Price for 21/4/2023.

April 2023 Yes the expected month for everything to go up in price, however the problem is everything as already gone up in price, again and again, by a lot.. so instead of our dear rulers thinking "Yeah we have already done enough of that "let's give it a break", nope instead let's continue to raise the prices up even more. There also seems to be a lot of movement from authorities in preventing those interested or wanting to take part in crypto "it's too volatile and dangerous" that's the excuse from the nanny state. As for Steem we previously had a big fall that took it down to $0.14 and with such a fall this helped us with collecting more Steem for our main goal this year. In 2023 what we are aiming for is to finally reach Orca or in other words this means holding a total of 50k Steem Power. During the bitcoin downwave from 60k it sadly also took down the value of SBD's, however SBD's have done a excellent job at holding around that important $3 mark for many months. My hope is that SBD's will once again secure this value for when Steem does eventually go back up again, and so far it's looking healthy to be doing just that. As for Steemit in April the Team is trying something different, they are experimenting with smaller teams, around 4 or 5 people per team. This means there is less room for curator positions and so competition to apply was tougher, but to make up for this it's said that the rewards are greater this time around. Tron is being received well, however earned TRX rewards appears less consistently, it can take 2 or 3 days sometimes even longer but at least we are getting them. However what isn't going at a good rate is our average electrical usage charge, these greedy energy companies just don't stop milking people with their constant price hikes. The cost of living is spiralling upwards hitting hard, many are left wondering when will it all get better? Most likely it won't, it never as before. The reasoning said for all these high prices is the war in Ukraine, but honestly if that's the case we must be literally getting almost every single thing from 2 very specific countries. The on-going war is a terrible moment in our history as Vladimir's army doesn't stall, instead they attack, strike up fear, callout threats and cast sadness into the lives of many. A war that if we are not too careful could just be what spells the beginning of the end. Best keep an eye on those politicians and refuse war at all costs, as continued provocation is on-going "we do NOT want WW3" but perhaps to stop that it may be already much too late.

Last night I went to sleep later than the usual late hour this was mostly because I got a call from a friend that lasted much longer than it should. This put me behind last night and so was up until later trying to catch-up. But I slept well during the night, this morning I was surprised to be up again before my alarm. Mostly because yesterday this didn't happen and I went to sleep later last night so was sure I would be tired enough to sleep until my alarm. Not sure if anything caused me to wake-up but I went back to sleep until the alarm, I rested for a while longer after but not as long compared to yesterday as I didn't want to miss out on most of the morning again. It was a very dull morning infact it seemed like it had been raining or was just about to start, but there was no rain in the morning with a little later the sun was trying to finally show it's face. So it might just turn nicer later, well that's what I wanted but what I was mostly hoping for was that it would less windy compared to yesterday. But before getting to that I didn't have work until a little later and so got on with doing some chores and logging on Steemit. I just about managed to get all the main things I needed done before going for breakfast, I even managed to get tickets for the event before getting ready for work. I think they were trying to fool people as this year the ticket prices were slightly cheaper, but actually they are not.. Later in the buying process they upped the service charge even more. Crazy how you buy a digital ticket yet there is a service charge for each ticket rather than a service charge for the order.. it really is just any way and excuse to squeeze more money out from you. Still my job will be if I get time to let my friends know I can now attend the event and that they are safe to buy their tickets now as I will definitely be there. After breakfast I left for work and the wind had definitely not improved, it was still made it rather chilly outside. When I got to work I saw that I was doing the usual and when it came to safe guarding my things and getting to the things I have at work I realised I forgot to bring in my key. I hate when I do this and was so sure I picked them up before leaving, well I placed my stuff in a place where I feel it's relatively safe and got to work. I knew there was extra work coming in today but keep hoping it will be set late like it used to so I don't need to do much of it but unfortunately it was set right on time. At least there was not much of it to get done and by the time I left they were very happy with how little was left to be completed by the others. When I made my way home most of the wind had dropped, when I was nearly home I searched for my keys and realised I had also forgotten them. This was extremely annoying and embarrassing so I had to wait for family in order to get in. The other day they wanted me to do another fire test, the superior said there would be a unusual question in the mix to throw us off, she said to just put down what actions I'd think to take because apparently they don't have a definitive answer to the question yet.. Right.. Well that doesn't surprise me.. I got started with the test and the question she was on about did stick out like a sore thumb as it had nothing to do with fire safety but instead a question about work.. How absolutely ridiculous! I finished the test the superior said she would look over the answers as she's been enjoying the silly answers that everybody as been putting.. professional right? In the end she said I answered everything correctly except on the very first question, I didn't mention anything about leaving the building, thought it was honestly obvious. Saw the new recruit again I said hello to him but he ignored me.. charming but honestly I know what it's like he was probably too nervous to hear or notice me. Apparently a friend of mine knows someone who knows the mother of the guy who applied, it's a small world. On my way out from work the other day our newest superior said he wanted to have a chat with me as we was both leaving work. He was asking me about doing permanently the early shifts, this is something I knew was going to come up since the girl who does them is leaving and I know they seemed keen on having me doing take over for whatever reason. I said I was not interested because I don't really fancy getting up super early it would be required every Sunday for sure. Not keen on that either as it's often a day use to see my friends, while not clear but I would probably get a little extra money for agreeing to doing this so I'm a little conflicted as I could definitely do with the money. But this isn't just about seeing friends it's the extra responsibilities I would have and how it would affect my health.
