Good day Steemian and welcome to today's Steem price update for 21/1/2021.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price's and recent STEEM changes for now over 4 years.

If you tire of addictively looking at the charts every few minutes then instead just relax and look here for the average daily STEEM price for your daily plan or strategy.
And even if you are not planning to do anything with your STEEM I still recommend checking out these updates every so often.
So without further ado lets take a look at today's Daily Steem Price for 21/1/2021.

Here we are already approaching the end of January with some people telling me that "January is over" and that they can't believe how quickly it's passed, while I agree with them I wouldn't go around saying January is over just yet. Well the weather is at least beginning to improve a little it's not being so bitter cold and I do think the days have slowly started becoming longer. I had been taking a few days off from work to relax after the busy period and with that time I have been able to catch up with a great many thing's. Even if the down time was during a stricter lockdown meaning I had to mostly stay at home which didn't bother me as with such cold weather around I can't say I really feel much like being outside, to which it confuses me to why so many people are self harm because they can't go out like they used to I mean there was even flood warnings which so far as not affected us nor does it normally, however what did bother me was somehow catching "the almost yearly" stomach 🐞 bug as I usually catch it from someone at work. Speaking of work I'm now back, on the first night I didn't have a very restful night's sleep for whatever reason. But last night I slept much better I did go to bed late but glad I did or the neighbour would of woke me up with he's car🚗🚗. Yes that's right I haven't mentioned the new neighbours we have across the road to me. I believe they are car fanatics 🚗 which is not a problem but what does really annoy me is "I believe it's the son who probably works the night shifts" he as this annoying habit of just sitting in he's car for about 10 whole minutes practically every single night at a late hour just running a very LOUD motor🚗🚗🚗 and does this time 4 times on occasion! They own some really low end cars but I have no doubts the son as put a beast of a motor in he's car and honestly the noise is downright annoying and depressing. But apart fro the car we also had alot of rain again during the night which I have to admit I find rather relaxing when falling to sleep and reminds me of my childhood as the rain fell to the forest. Anyway continuing on from the work topic today I had a shift at a later time and was required to stay longer for various things, again today the same superior who was throwing her weight around the previous time was at it again with adding more silly pointless jobs for me to do on top of my regular work I hope she chills out soon. I also heard about a possible situation with some security and a knife incident I will have to wait and see to find out more. Yesterday after work I took the opportunity to get a few errands done and expected it to be rather quiet as that's what it's been like lately and also what I have often been told by other people. But my goodness it was the opposite while it was not crazy busy there sure was alot of people out and queues for everything, argh it was a nuisance and I suppose I should of expected this as normally when the government says this is a lockdown and it's strict some, yes "some" people will listen but after about 2 weeks "nobody" cares anymore and it's people everywhere, so I guess most managed about 2 weeks and a half this time round a slight improvement I guess lol. But today when I left work it seemed like once again things had got quieter I guess it was just my bad luck that I went out to get things done when everybody else for some reason thought of doing the same. Moving on I'm using a different wallet now as I had to get some Bitcoins unstuck the wallet doesn't support STEEM so to exchange your money it must be moved once again and while I managed to save my coins I'm unsure if I want to try that process again as it seems to be more costly and more things can go wrong with the process. But I guess that for the moment I must wait and watch Steem closely for when will be the next best opportunity to strike 🥊 or in other words buy more STEEM. Just the other day I said Steem was looking to be making it's way to $0.21 which I was right about but lets see if it hits $0.22 while that would be great it would be better if we could actually hold above $0.16.

💚We saw recently in January STEEM almost reach $0.24 but unfortunately even with these insane 💰$41000 Bitcoin prices STEEM as continued to not move much, which is such a shame as people should be investing into this great coin as you can do so much more with it, but oh well until they do I can keep collecting it at a cheaper price for myself. Since the rise back in February 2020 not much as changed over the months, and while yes it did go down to $0.09 last year it still mostly stayed between $0.16, $0.18 and $0.20 in 2020. There was also that mystery spike rise on March 19th last year taking Steem to $0.40💛 which seems to be the only real bounce we have seen in a while, so let's see if any action occurs in 2021. The lowest Steem price this year as been $0.15 and the highest $0.23 which broke this years record on Jan 10th but since then the drop in bitcoin may have pushed Steem back, it would be nice to see if this year Steem can atleast hold above $0.17 for most of the year. Well at least people can't complain about the price being too volatile as Steem as been mostly steady for nearly a year now. Still this brings opportunity as it's a great price to "power-up" your account cheaply, if you are under 10000 SP you may want to consider getting some, I don't say this as a way to improve your financial situation but rather to enjoy the benefits of having Steem, like speeding up your account's Steem accumulation or how much Tron you gain and other general tasks etc, as after-all a small bump in price with those holding's would bring-in some nice noticeable benefits to those with some skin in the game.

💛 We reached "🐬TRIPLE DOLPHIN🐬" in November which means our collective STEEM POWER is now over 💪15000 SP!! There are around 616 Triple Dolphin accounts, if you add together all that it's ALOT of Steem Power nearly 10mil, join us!? We will of course continue to collect and lock-up even more STEEM! My new goal 🌍 is to reach 20.000 SP🏆, hopefully by June 2021. This is still not possible in our current situation but with a few more whale votes in these coming months we might just be able to get there. We are already off to a much better start than the previous run-up and so I also want to thank everybody who votes in and for their kind support. I have now been on here for over 4 years and have never powered down once, I also continue to invest into STEEM in small quantities, your votes can help with this also, but essentially all of this means that your votes are safe with me and help retain STEEM's value since being a "Top 450 Steem-Power Holder" it's beginning to count, your votes may even help make it go higher in the future with plans for purchasing more STEEM. We totalled 7.841 SP at the end of 2019 and reached 15.000 on November 24th and so if you want to help me on this quest "locking away 20.000 Steem Power" with the intention to support and retain more of it's value then please consider leaving your best vote below.

✺ Speaking of keeping things running the covid19 madness continues with us in lockdown number 3 at level 5. While there suppose to be differences between each level it definitely doesn't change the behaviour of people and so make's each one of these levels rather pointless. Lv-3 lockdowns were suppose to be the most strict, not anymore and so just how many more lvls are they going to keep making-up? I'm guessing until people listen..? While at first it didn't click as to why the covid cases were soaring so much I do believe it may be part to do with the government allowing for the "Christmas get-togethers" which seemed to have been confirmed by the news I saw broadcasted. The mass vaccination process continues on with also a roll out of another vaccine and I believe there is also some medicine used by those with arthritis that as been approved to fight covid. They are vaccinating the elderly first it's said more than half have now been vaccinated and also those who care for them will get the jab if enough are available. ✺There will also now be a total of 7️⃣ mass jab centres where they hope to get the elderly coming in 24/7 to be vaccinated. After the elderly it's been discussed that teachers, shop workers and police could be prioritised in the next phase of the vaccine rollout. But heck apparently many of the waiting vials are being destroyed because people are not keeping to their scheduled vaccination appointments 🕝 so they destroy the formulas because I'm assuming it's no longer effective? The most effective vaccine was said to be around %95 effective well now there is news that it's not actually that effective and more like %89 and even some reports are saying it's actually lower at %33 effective and that the government should be looking at what exactly it is they are rolling out here as many seem to be forgetting that this as not even been properly time tested. They firstly said this so called "cure" could possibly only protect those who take it for up to 9 months, but I now see reports claiming it's only for 5 months well "possibly" not only that but they have said even with the vaccine you can still catch covid and still pass it on to others which makes no sense when they are thinking about letting the age groups who have had their vaccines back to their regular lives, wont they just be spreading it about again and putting hospitals under stress?🤷‍♂️ At the end of the day we simply don't know that much about the jab. They also want to mix up both vaccines together when needed just for the sake of injecting as many people as possible, well that's just crazy and something a child would do when trying to fix a problem and so I'm glad that scientists have spoken-up this time about the idea being silly without any proper testing. There is also a guy in government who wants people to take the vaccine or get shut out from society by not giving them access to any businesses, meaning you wouldn't be able to buy food, attend a school, watch movies at the cinema or travel anywhere, to which I then don't see how exactly this would be giving the public the choice?🤷‍♂️ But it seems he may have changed his mind about that statement lately which seems fishy and perhaps rightly so as Mr Bill Gates is said to be working on the technological system for a vaccination type passport. I have worked all during this crisis as our company used a loophole within the system to keep us all working despite our government stating that all non-essential work places must shut-down. It was either work or be fired kind of attitude, and regardless of being in a lv5 lockdown my boss continues with us working. The food 🍔🍒 shortage problems I thought seemed to have sorted themselves out but once again I'm going into shops and seeing many empty shelves and apparently on the news they are beginning to admit there are shortages and it's a big problem. There also seems to be alot of people getting a "masked gang" burst into their homes normally the victims are elderly👨‍🦯👩‍🦯, the gang then robs and often beats the elderly people nearly to death using all sorts of weapons including a saw, this as been happening in many places up and down the country and somehow unrelated to each other, so very concerning, the last I heard it involved children as the parents were not present at home during the incident but luckily they were not harmed but they did have knifes pointed at them and were threatened.
