Good day Steemian and welcome to today's Steem price update for 13/8/2021.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price's and recent STEEM changes for now over 4 years.

If you tire of addictively looking at the charts every few minutes then instead just relax and look here for the average daily STEEM price for your daily plan or strategy.
And even if you are not planning to do anything with your STEEM I still recommend checking out these updates every so often.
So without further ado lets take a look at today's Daily Steem Price for 13/8/2021.

Here we are in August supposedly the time of year everybody goes on holiday and the nicest weather set upon us. And so while we have had rain I can't deny that it's mostly remained warm, there were a few exceptions but hopefully no more freak rain. I feel bad for one of my friends who as a leaky roof and was in shambles due to the rain. Said he needs to fix it but doesn't have the money, they had someone over to look at it for perhaps a cheap fix but unfortunately this cannot be done. Anyway since one of my superiors as left the company I have worked less volatile shifts and I can't even express how much it's improved many things for me. But recently I felt this was coming to it's end as the shifts began getting more volatile, but instead it turned out to be the end of something much more. I mentioned recently it had been announced that %25 of our workload had been cut, this was due to the many things going on around the world and of course covid19. While it did make work easier it wasn't a great sign for the companies survival.. Then there was a notice about too many people working within the company and that "action" will be taken. I thought they may start sacking some staff but I noticed less people were turning up for work, and so it seemed a cut on eligible hours was decided on. Well you can probably already see where all this is going.. my boss called me the other morning to what sounded like he was holding back tears. He asked me if I had some time to listen to a announcement he had received from he's boss? I said sure "expecting it to be some boring speech about company values and commitments" but instead I was shocked to hear that he had basically just announced that our company was closing it's doors😱😱😱!! yikes. He did say however that they are going to try and find some of us work. But that obviously there is no guarantee that any of us can find employment anywhere else within the company. At the moment I don't know what to make of it, in one way I felt a little fear but mostly excitement is what came next, still I don't think it's fully sunk in and this could either be a good thing or a complete disaster. Today I had work and my duties were as I expected and by this I mean my boss taking over them, he done this for a few hours and then when he left I took over but it's like today he didn't want to leave. But yesterday what did surprise me was to see a superior from the site in which I worked at during the initial lockdown. Was not too keen on any of them really but apparently it seems she's here to cover one of our superiors because she might of caught the covid. Tests are being done and it's been said if it's positive many of us will have to go into quarantine.. but there as been no further news on this yet. After work I have been taking the longer way home, I didn't again today as I wanted to do a little shopping but since I had enough steps and worked longer I didn't take any detours to get extra steps. Anyway the point is with these lockdowns regardless of still working during them I noticed some personal weight gain, and so I have continued to try and shed some of the weight off with small daily workouts and step counting. I will continue to do so until my work schedule changes to a point that I just can't do it anymore. But pleased to notice some of the weight shifting firstly around the beginning of May and then in July. It was only in July and now August that others have began to notice my weight lost. My goal was not to tell anybody until they mentioned it first, like that I would know for sure it's a truthful comment. But seems once again the fat is being stubborn to burn, it's very tough and still there is a long way to go, but at least there's been some slight muscle gain. For the workout I managed to get it done yesterday and today after missing it for 2 days because of the crazy work related news, but it's been going better then I expected. I think might be time to stop thinking it's going to be so bad restarting just because I missed out on 2 days. As for steps we started the week well and so having reached a total today of 105k steps out of the 105k weekly target. Few days ago it was sad for me as we have lost our cat Mindy due to old age, she died peacefully at home with us and will be missed dearly as she was incredibly beautiful and strong. When she couldn't walk anymore we would carry her to the garden as she enjoyed being out there looking at the sky and the flowers in her final days. To our dear Mindy, we miss you dearly. 🌼🐈 🌼

As for Tron I started by learning some of the basics, I then looked into "Tron Stacking" and I'm now doing a few votes with my frozen Tron. I noticed that I had successfully earned a little Tron, well a whole $0.09 worth of Tron. I checked again and it done a nice jump as I made $0.26 Tron. There was another update to the wallet's login they have added a connect button on the main page which I think make's it slightly easier to understand it and so helping newbies a little to distinguish the difference between login into their different wallets. Anyway my earnings were now at $0.53 Tron, I hope to reach gains of $0.60 soon and so will see if I can get hold of more Tron so that I can upvote again and increase my Tron earnings.

For now I will watch Steem as it's been lower from it's 2nd time hitting $1.30+ this year, it did drop pretty low $0.20 but we are now seeing abit of a bounce back, lets see if it lasts. Hopefully we wont see Steem fall back down to $0.16. Many thought Steem would hit $1.00 in June but actually on March 30th we hit $1.00, we experienced a fall after that but there was some good recovery and so we beat the record again for the year. The prediction from many on here is that Steem will hit $3.50 for August, with Bitcoins recovering will Steem be able to bounce that high.. Still since the price dropped it at least gave me the chance to earn some extra Steem's and that is exciting for when the price does go back up. Also the Steemit Crypto Academy is on it's 3rd season and as really gained some momentum after it's break, as many people have continued joining in for their weekly updates and doing all the "homework tasks". Did you know you are allowed to follow as many of the courses as you want? Which you could be rewarded for by taking part in with upvotes from the steemcurator01 or steemcurator02 accounts. You can go here Steemit Academy 3 to learn who are the professors and what are the participation rules, as the Academy is basically one of the most educative programs running on Steemit with professors on different crypto topics. These posts by the professors are very well written and detailed with great information of the crypto universe. Season 3 will be running with 3 different levels of participation all with specific requirements which is I think a great idea to encourage people to not only improve their standing on Steemit but to also hold their Steem Power. In order to participate in the "Beginners Courses" students must be at a level in which they have a minimum reputation of 50 and at least 125 Steem Power. With this again I have seen people complain and while I know it's difficult to at first acquire Steem Power on here and if you have no money to buy any Steem. But if you take part in the community you can eventually get there, you just need to be active on Steemit with patience, or save up some fiat money and buy the rest of the Steem you need to participate. But please know that the more SP you power-up the easier it gets to earn even more SP, and by doing this activity it helps every other person who also as some SP on the Steemit platform, basically together we all create more value for each other by holding Steem. So I don't think the rule is unfair as many are constantly powering down. You actually earn more in the long run by saving it, really your doing yourself a big favour when you keep Steem. And so please read all the rules before jumping into Season 3 of the Academy.

💚We saw in April STEEM almost reached $1.45 but unfortunately even with the insane 💰$45000 Bitcoin prices and Doge coins shooting UP yep... STEEM as continued to not move much, which is a shame as people should be investing into this great coin as you can do so much more with it. Bitcoins as been going over the 40k mark which means since I put in a small bid I might get some extra coins to buy Steem with as I feel there is still a bullrun to 100k to be had at somepoint this year. The lowest Steem price this year as been $0.15 and the highest $1.43 which broke this years record on April 11th, the previous record for the year was on April 2th at $1.38. It would be nice to see if this year Steem can at least hold above $0.17 for most of 2021, and so far it's doing that. Still this brings opportunity as it's a good price to "power-up" your account, I don't say this as a way to improve your financial situation but rather to enjoy the benefits of having Steem, like speeding up your account's Steem accumulation or how much Tron you gain plus other general tasks within the blockchain etc.

✺ So as the covid19 madness come to it's end now? Well while it does strangely feel like there is alot more freedom I have my doubts that this will be the last time we will be in a lockdown. I feel the same will happen for the winter months if all this panic about being so called "free" doesn't calm down. Freedom Day consisted of everything opening, no more masks or social distancing requirements but the government is still holding some places like clubs and restaurants to use Covid passes, yup the same "Covid Passes" that they promised never to use. The mass vaccination process continues.. it's said that now more than 67 million had their first jab and those who are in their teens are getting theirs. ✺ They keep saying that the 18 to 29 year olds have been the least interested in getting their vaccine and over the month's it's been ridiculous to see all the bribes and gimmicks people except in return to get vaccinated. The most effective vaccine was said to be around %95 effective, a "cure" stated at the time, but it's also been reported to be far less affective. Yet still covid is transmittable in those double vaccinated and triple masked, the vaccine as now gone from the miracle cure to basically making symptoms less severe and so possibly stopping you from.. death. Yes all that protection from something you already seem to have about a %97 of surviving, this is according to.. if you look at the number of deaths vs cases in most places around the world. But by taking the vaccine it could instead give you blood clotting, anaphylaxis, heart inflammation, bell's palsy, the shakes, fainting, skin peeling oh and of course death. There was apparently at the time a %0.01 chance of you getting these more severe symptoms but it seems they have updated this stat to now being around %7.9, who knows how accurate that is now.. my guess is they will update it to a higher number. ✺ How will our bodies react to so much of this stuff being pumped into us I wonder? Yup Booster shots. These companies are rolling in our money 👍 that's for sure. The government did say at one point that we must treat the covid virus like a common flu, which didn't surprise me as people who had it "and who I know personally" said it was like having the flu. I have been told by friends who's parents had their jabs done ✺ that the nurses will tell you "this doesn't mean your fully protected" I also find it interesting how so many medical staff refused to take the vaccine, many even getting fired or just quit because they didn't want to take the injection, what do these medical staff know that we don't? It did seem very rushed and why aren't we doing this for all the other thing's that are killing even more people? As for the deaths if you take the number of people who normally die from other things, next look at the covid numbers ✺ they are indeed strangely similar, and so I guess it could be possible that they were replacing the cause of death from other things to covid. The vaccine minister initially wanted people to take the vaccine or get shut out from society, meaning you wouldn't be able to buy food, attend a school, watch movies at the cinema or travel anywhere, choices eh?🤷‍♂️ Perhaps still in the pipeworks as Mr Bill Gates is said to be working on his technological system for a vaccination ✺ type I.D passport. Yes "Covid Passes" it was reported businesses can request them if they want, but from what I'm hearing governments will be pressuring businesses to comply to use them. I have worked all during this crisis as our company used a loophole within the system to keep us all working despite our government stating that all non-essential work places must shut-down. At the time I was furious because I was worried about catching covid and I could of done with some time off.
