Good day Steemian and welcome to today's Steem price update for 13/7/2023.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price's and recent STEEM changes for over 6 years.

If you tire of addictively looking at the charts every few minutes then instead just relax and look here for the average STEEM price for your daily plan or strategy.
And even if you are not planning to do anything with your STEEM I still recommend checking out these updates every so often.
So without further ado lets take a look at today's Daily Steem Price for 13/7/2023.

July 2023 marks us past the halfway of this year, the Government is doing trials on universal basic income schemes. This isn't the UBI for those who don't have jobs but it means everybody will get this wage. UBI as been in the works for many years some think this will solve many problems while others believe it will cause more of them, it could also very well destroy the value of any currency who takes this scheme up. As for Steem we previously had a big fall that took it down to $0.14 and with such a fall this helped us with collecting more Steem for our main goal this year. In 2023 what we are aiming for is to finally reach Orca or in other words this means holding a total of 50k Steem Power, this as so far been a 6 year project. Also if you want Steem to be a success or just looking to earn more you should vote mostly on those who do not power down. Powering down lowers the value of Steem, meaning it lowers the value of your investment or the Steem that you earn from posting. My account is a example as one of the very few on here who is not powering down rewards. I also buy into Steem often, your votes encourage me to keep on buying even more so keep them coming as buying also helps rise the price of Steem. By voting on these posts we try to protect and raise the price of Steem, we also plan to use this to buy even more when the price goes up. During the bitcoin downwave from 60k it also sadly took down the value of SBD's, however SBD's have done a excellent job at holding around that important $3 mark for many months. My hope is that SBD's will once again secure this value for when Steem does eventually go back up again. As for Steemit the Team they are having better results with smaller curation teams, around 4 or 5 people per team. This means there is less room for curator positions and so competition to apply as been tougher, however it's said that the rewards will be greater. Tron as been once again not appearing in our wallets it looks like a general issue but it's probably connected to the fact that TRX will once again be reduced going from the ratio of 1 Steem to 0.25 TRX or in other words meaning that will be 0.25 TRX for every 1 Steem Power earned. Not going to lie I feel this kind of sucks I'm wondering now if they will continue to lower it until it will be zero. The cost of living is spiralling upwards the reasoning said for all these high prices is the war in the Ukraine, guess we must be literally getting almost every single thing from 2 very specific countries. The on-going war is a terrible moment in our history, they attack, strike up fear, call-out threats and cast sadness into the lives of many. A war that if we are not too careful could just be what spells the beginning of the end. Best keep an eye on those politicians and refuse war at all costs, as continued provocation is on-going "we do NOT want WW3" but perhaps to stop that it may be already much too late.

Last while not as confident that I was going to sleep earlier than the usual late hour I at least did manage to sleep earlier than most previous nights lately. No silly long computer updates with a screen that kept telling me "do to disturb the computer!". Thanks computer but your getting in the way of precious sleep so it better hurry up or it will be going out the window literally. They really should make these updates as quick and sort as possible, seems it used to be better back in the days when these updates were not even a thing. But it could of been worse as I expected a possible phone call from my friend which would of delayed me even more. But what happened with the call last time was once I got to around the 30 minute mark I was like no more and dropped the call. I slept well all night and even feel asleep relatively fast which all surprised me as I was stressed with the health of my parents. This morning I did wake-up before my alarm, no idea why, I tried going back to sleep until my alarm and rested past it for longer after I accidentally turned off the alarm but I actually felt like I slept better. As for the morning weather it's gone back to being mostly cloudy and I feel it will likely remain this way all day long which it did. Later in the day the wind started to pick up and we even got a little rain, I was slightly surprised by how many people already had coats on and winter type pieces of clothing as I generally thought it was still warm regardless. Once up I began the day by doing some chores, I checked to see if the gaming servers were still down and finally they were up so I ha a quick session. Got rid of the one I was playing it was unfairly difficult in most places, the game also had a weird thing going on where it goes from cool idea to boring in later stages. I think all I need now is one more document which I feel likely I wont be able to get before I visit my father, fixed one of the holder in the oven, and lastly I went on Steemit. I didn't have to get in for work today but there was the possibility I was going to meet with a friend later today I was just surprised by how late they left it to tell me if we were meeting or not. It's not their fault but it's down to the demands required of their work. I was told initially that there was no possibility of meeting which I had no problem with however what I didn't appreciated was getting 2 messages later, one saying we can probably meet with the other saying no we can't I have more work. The only reason for this is because earlier it was already established as "we are not meeting" vs "maybe we can still" and so because of this even if they could meet with me I would then refuse because I had nothing prepared for being able to just leave. My hayfever started on Thursday June 8th I have so far had 3 bad experiences this year. June 25th as so far this year been the worst, it was severe enough that it took me over a week to recover from it. Mostly it was my eyes that were the most affected on the day with it later effected my breathing which I think felt a bit like asthma. Previously at work there was a point were the fools put too many staff on break and so I had to do cover work, this is not usually a big problem but I had just began the extra work. This is a problem as the superiors expect it to be done within a certain time yet they create the prefect situations so that it doesn't..!? This place often seems to just expect miracles to happen, to make this even worse they also wanted me to take some photos with staff for the good work and commitment, now if only there was 3 of me eh.. Since I was already not pleased and because our boss was with us I took my own back and used the opportunity to ask him about the documents needed for my trip. No surprise he had no clue about these and said he will have to contact another department which he said "and I already knew this" that getting replies from them can take days. At least on the same day when I left my boss had already sent a message out to the other department. Now we just wait and see what happens but my feeling is that they are also going to perhaps require more details. This would could cause severe delays but even more so is I think I read somewhere on the work socials that my boss was going away for two weeks which will really mess-up with the time I have left to put all these documents together. As speaking with my father I'm a little annoyed to hear of all the things I need to bring now for the trip in order to organise a few family matters. My time is getting limited I just hope for no more surprises and that I can get all the required documents on time. I'm still to inform him vie text of so far how much I have been able to put together.
