Good day Steemian and welcome to today's Steem price update for 13/1/2021.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price's and recent STEEM changes for now over 4 years.

If you tire of addictively looking at the charts every few minutes then instead just relax and look here for the average daily STEEM price for your daily plan or strategy.
And even if you are not planning to do anything with your STEEM I still recommend checking out these updates every so often.
So without further ado lets take a look at today's Daily Steem Price for 13/1/2021.

Here we are in January and the weather as been bitter cold, infact it's been so cold that I believe it's been freezing some of the nearby incoming pipes outside to the house as we had no water or pressure for a while. I also remember seeing a busted pipe much further down the neighbourhood which probably had something to the with the weather. It's at times like this that really make you realise just how valuable water is and that without it 😱 thing's start to fall apart. I'm also taking a few days off from work to relax after the busier period being over and so this way I have been able to catch up with a few thing's and enjoy the time away from work even if it's during a stricter lockdown, meaning I have to mostly stay at home which doesn't bother me much as with such cold weather around I can't say I really feel like being out much. But what a nuisance I seem to have somehow still caught the almost yearly stomach bug that comes with this time of year. I normally catch it from work so confused as to how exactly I got it what a nuisance to get it now when I was enjoy my time away from work and so because of this bug I was busy 🤮 well twice 🤮 during the early hours of the morning. Anyway I'm now using a different wallet so that I could get some Bitcoins unstuck from a website in which I wanted to exchange for STEEM. I had to do this as my original wallet got magically suspended because of so called "suspicious activity" and with that trapping my money on their website😡. But annoyingly the wallet doesn't support STEEM nor can you make conversions to STEEM so had to move the Bitcoins yet again and discovered that in order to move them they would charge me a fee over $5😱!! I refused to pay... I think that one reason as to why they were charging such a fee is because of the insane bitcoin price right now and it's high demand. Luckily I didn't pay that charge I found a option which allowed me to set the price for moving my Bitcoins. You are warned that setting a price too low could potentially mean your Bitcoins getting stuck, I would then have to buy more Bitcoins again just to move the ones I'm trying to move in the first place..😒 but in the end after all that ordeal I saw my Bitcoins arrive into the proper wallet 🙌 and then turned into STEEM 👍.

💚We saw recently STEEM almost reach $0.24 but unfortunately even with these insane $41000 Bitcoin prices STEEM as continued to not move much which is such a shame as people should be investing into this great coin as you can do so much more with it, but oh well until they do I can keep collecting it at a cheaper price for myself. Since the rise back in February 2020 not much as changed over the months, and while yes it did go down to $0.09 last year it's still mostly stayed between $0.18 and $0.20 in 2020. There was also that mystery spike rise on March 19th last year taking Steem to $0.40💛 which seems to be the only real bounce we have seen, so let's see if any action occurs in 2021. The lowest Steem price this year as been $0.15 and the highest $0.23 which broke this years record on Jan 10th but since then the drop in bitcoin seems to be be pushing Steem back to 0.16. Well at least people can't complain about the price being too volatile as Steem as been mostly steady for nearly a year now. Still this brings opportunity as it's a great price to "power-up" your account cheaply, if you are under 10000 SP you may want to consider getting some, I don't say this as a way to improve your financial situation but rather to enjoy the benefits of having Steem, like speeding up your account's Steem accumulation and also how much Tron you gain etc, as after-all a small bump in price with those holding's would bring-in some nice noticeable benefits to those with some skin in the game.

💛 We reached "🐬TRIPLE DOLPHIN🐬" in November which means our collective STEEM POWER is now over 💚15000 SP!! We will of course continue to collect and lock-up even more STEEM! My new goal 🌍 is now to reach 20.000 SP🏆, hopefully by June 2021. This is still not possible in our current situation but with a few more whale votes in these coming months we might just be able to get there. We are already off to a great start, well much better than the previous run-up. I also want to thank everybody who votes in and for their kind support. I have now been on here for over 4 years and have never powered down once, I also continue to invest into STEEM in small quantities, your votes can help with this also, but this essentially means your votes are safe with me and help retain STEEM's value. We totalled 7.841 SP at the end of 2019 and reached 15.000 on November 24th and so if you want to help me on this new quest "locking away 20.000 Steem Power" with the intention to support and retain more of it's value then please consider leaving your best vote below.

✺ Speaking of keeping things running the covid19 madness continues with us in lockdown number 3 at level 5. While there suppose to be differences between each level it definitely doesn't change the behaviour of people and so make's each of these levels pointless and no different then the next. Lv-3 lockdowns were suppose to be the most strict, well not anymore so and just how many more lvls are they going to keep making up until people listen..? While at first it didn't click as to why the covid cases were soaring but I believe it may have started with the government allowing for the "Christmas get-togethers" to on go ahead during the week of Christmas. The mass vaccination process continues with now a roll out of another vaccine and I believe there is also some medicine used by those with arthritis that as been approved to fight covid. They are vaccinating the elderly first and those who care for them. ✺There will also now be a total of seven mass jab centres where they hope to get the elderly to come in 24/7 to be vaccinated but heck apparently many of the waiting vials are being destroyed because people are not keeping to their scheduled vaccination appointment meaning they then destroy the formula because I'm assuming it's no longer effective? The most effective vaccine is said to be around %95 effective but many seem to be forgetting that these have not even been properly time tested. I have heard that this so called cure infact could possibly only protect those who take it for up to 9 months, at the end of the day we simply don't know that much about it. And now I heard they want to mix up both vaccines together when needed just for the sake of injecting as many people as possible, well that's just crazy and I'm glad scientists have spoken up about how absurd the idea is of mixing-up vaccines without any proper testing. There is also a guy in government who wants people to take the vaccine or get shut out from society by not giving them access to any businesses, meaning you wouldn't be able to go food shopping, school, the cinema or even travel, to which I then don't see how exactly this would then be giving the public the choice? But it seems he may have changed his mind about that statement lately which make's m even more suspicious. I have worked all during this crisis as our company used a loophole within the system to keep us all working despite our government stating that all non-essential work places must shut-down. It was either work or be fired kind of attitude, and regardless of being in a lv5 lockdown my boss continues saying we are to be in for work. The food shortage problem I thought seemed to have sorted itself out but once again I'm going into shops and seeing many empty shelves. ✺One of my closest friends recently had the covid and while I was slightly worried about them having it I'm glad to see they are now back to good health. But my gosh are the crimes rates soaring again mostly between the 13 and 16 year olds just some horrific tragedies in the last few days.
