Daily Steem Price Update 1/5/2023
Good day Steemian and welcome to today's Steem price update for 1/5/2023.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price's and recent STEEM changes for over 6 years.
If you tire of addictively looking at the charts every few minutes then instead just relax and look here for the average STEEM price for your daily plan or strategy.
And even if you are not planning to do anything with your STEEM I still recommend checking out these updates every so often.
So without further ado lets take a look at today's Daily Steem Price for 1/5/2023.

April 2023 the expected month for everything to go up in price, however the problem is everything as already gone up in price, again and again, by a lot.. so instead of our dear rulers thinking "Yeah we have already done enough of that "let's give it a break", nope instead they continue to raise the prices up even more. There also seems to be a lot of movement from authorities in preventing those interested or wanting to take part in crypto "it's too volatile and dangerous" that's the excuse from the nanny state. As for Steem we previously had a big fall that took it down to $0.14 and with such a fall this helped us with collecting more Steem for our main goal this year. In 2023 what we are aiming for is to finally reach Orca or in other words this means holding a total of 50k Steem Power. Also if you want Steem to be a success or just to earn more on here you should vote mostly on those who do not power down. Powering down lowers the value of Steem, meaning it lowers the value of your investment your Steem. My account is a example as one of the very few on here who is not powering down rewards. I also buy into Steem often, your votes encourage me to keep buying even more so keep them coming. By voting on these posts we try to protect and rise the price of Steem we also plan to use this to buy even more when the price rises. During the bitcoin downwave from 60k this sadly took also down the value of SBD's, however SBD's have done a excellent job at holding around that important $3 mark for many months. My hope is that SBD's will once again secure this value for when Steem does eventually go back up again. As for Steemit in April the Team is trying something different, they are experimenting with smaller curation teams, around 4 or 5 people per team. This means there is less room for curator positions and so competition to apply was tougher, however it's said that rewards will be greater. Tron as been appearing correctly in our wallets, however the earned TRX rewards appear less often, it can take 2 or 3 days, sometimes even longer but at least we are getting them. The cost of living is spiralling upwards the reasoning said for all these high prices is the war in Ukraine, guess we must be literally getting almost every single thing from 2 very specific countries. The on-going war is a terrible moment in our history, they attack, strike up fear, call-out threats and cast sadness into the lives of many. A war that if we are not too careful could just be what spells the beginning of the end. Best keep an eye on those politicians and refuse war at all costs, as continued provocation is on-going "we do NOT want WW3" but perhaps to stop that it may be already much too late.

Last night I went to sleep just slightly early that the usual late hour. I slept well during the night but did take a littler longer than usual to fall asleep. Like most mornings lately again I was awake before my alarm not by much, I rested until my alarm and a little after my alarm. Unfortunately for a bit too long, for whatever reason this morning was also tough lol. I didn't feel the temperature to be cold but for some reason the heating came on this morning and made me feel hot, there must of been a temperature drop earlier but I don't think any of that is what impacted my sleep. Still there was no sun shine this morning instead it was another morning full of clouds. My hope is later the sun would make it's appearance. I started with doing chores, logging on Steemit and once my free time was up I went for a quick breakfast and changed for work. As I made my way to work it began to get much brighter, it's was pleasant out except still a little too much wind for my liking. When I got to work I was doing the usual I checked to see if there was extra work to be done and unfortunately there would be later which I would be caught in. I didn't really notice many of the superiors in but I guess this isn't no big surprise. The extra work was ready much earlier than expected lol it's like they done that on purpose today. There was more to be done than expected but still since it was ready earlier when I left there was just over half of it left to be done with 52% of it completed. One more bill left to pay and yup I did finally received the bill my friend was so furious about and while it is much more costly than usual I'm still glad I managed to make it so much cheaper than what my friend payed. I noticed that the battery from my phone as started depleting much faster these past 3 days, I kept thinking the back of the phone near were the battery is located felt slightly warmer. Almost like the phone was working on something in the background, but there is nothing active on my phone that I could see working. I checked it over many times and there was no indication of anything. I decided to switched it off for a while and turning it back on again in the hopes that if there was something working in the background that this would make it stop. Since I done this I noticed the phone didn't feel as warm and that the battery was preserving power much more effectively. I guess there was something working in the background, it just annoys me there was no indication of what it was doing to be using so much power. As for the event tickets I managed to get them, they were trying to fool people with their prices this year. The ticket prices were cheaper, but in the buying process they slap you with a high service charge for each "digital" ticket instead of each order.. any excuse to squeeze more money out from you. Still all my friends now have tickets.. well except for one who I'm I'm still awaiting on a confirmation.
