Is Steemit itself safe for work?
I find it really buggers up my workflow.
And vapourisers too - when I'm smashed off my nut my work habits are totally crap...
This post talks about boobs and bongs so it's probably not safe for work either.

Whether you choose to do it or not is up to you. If you post something with a porn or potentially distasteful title, image, first part of the text that is REVEALED to people in the main feed whether they want to see it or not you're likely going to get flagged to oblivion.
When in doubt use NSFW. NSFW seems to do okay if it is a well conceived post. I am fairly certain there are some voters that intentionally look at that tag for things to support.
Do you look for NSFW posts? Would you like me to post some?
Ok I'll trying being serious for a moment (this doesn't happen very often) - Do you think this post should be tagged NSFW? and do you think a post reviewing a vapouriser should be NSFW?
I don't think that necessarily should be NSFW. I had to intentionally think about what I was seeing because you asked the question to really get it. Such shapes can occur in nature. Now if they were not artistically ambiguous like that and were say full on photos of such regions then yeah NSFW would likely be warranted.
In this case I don't think it'd be needed. Though that is me. People are free to vote how they like. So I still say if you are in doubt use the tag.
Do I look for NSFW posts? Sometimes. I always click REVEAL to see what something is when it is marked as HIDDEN with a REVEAL button in the feed. Those show up with all other posts I look at.
I've posted I think two posts I flagged NSFW and they didn't do bad.

Both were about the same thing but posted for different reasons. I wasn't going out of my way to make something NSFW I just thought that video was VERY WELL put together and worth writing about.
Youtube eventually censored it so it is not in my second post, but I found it uncensored elsewhere and embedded that in the replies of the first post and the second post I embedded it showing we can embed things other than youtube.
I checked it out but prefer Jimmy Page - I never would have picked you as a goth death mettler :)
I'm into all kinds of music. I actually only discovered that guy the first time I was writing a post on Neo-Classical Metal and that guys name kept coming up.
He actually is using Neo-Classical mixed with some Djent.... I saw that video and said "Holy Shit!" and it was so well made I thought it deserved a post. :)

Very close to what I looked like in High School. Didn't have the Testament and Anthrax patches but I did have one jacket with metallica patches all over it, and another with a huge slayer back patch. :) That was in the late 80s.
