Steem Statistic Charts Week 16 --- Including Country Statistics
After a two week break, we will now continue with the weekly Steem statistics.
In week 16 of 2018, price of Steem increased by 20.2% and the SBD price increased by 33,5%. While activity key figures and total accounts has risen, the daily unique vistors have been falling for 6 weeks. I have no explanation for this contradictory behaviour. Maybe someone else has
Inflation Rates
Steem: 8.91% per year
SBD: 2.75% per week

The following chart shows the SBD price and SBD supply in linear scaling. The inflation rate of SBD is now 2.8% per week.

Very good, thanks. One possibility for the increase in registration of accounts that aren't used is that they are being bought up for the purposes of investment in case people want to buy them later - as occurs with domain names..
However, if the data you are using is looking at new account REQUESTS then it is probably the case that people are creating accounts which are never authorised and that they can never use.. The sign up process has been totally broken for a long time. :/
Displayed like that, the current price increase rates of STEEM and SBD are incredibly steep. That means that Steem will be a very good place to be during the bull rally that is now getting under way!

Thank you for finally extending country statistic to 24 countries, this now gives more details. I remember Poland being part of the top 12 but I can now see Australia replacing it. It is good to see the mass adoption of Steem all over the world.
