Very good, thanks. One possibility for the increase in registration of accounts that aren't used is that they are being bought up for the purposes of investment in case people want to buy them later - as occurs with domain names..

However, if the data you are using is looking at new account REQUESTS then it is probably the case that people are creating accounts which are never authorised and that they can never use.. The sign up process has been totally broken for a long time. :/
