Language Gem 1: Which Language is #1 in the world? Hint to do better on Steemit

To all Steemian friends,

As we post in Steemit, keep in mind the languages that dominate in this world.  To get more views, it is good to have some of our posts translated to _______________.  Do you know what it is?  

Which language do you think is the most spoken language in this world?

Question:  Which do you think is the top 3 spoken language?

This is what I would have thought:

1.  English

2.  Spanish

3.  Chinese

4.  Arabic

5.  Hindi

6.  Portuguese

7.  Russian

8.  Japanese

9.  Bangali

10.  Landan

It is UNBELIEVABLE - CHINESE ranks as #1 as the top most spoken language in this world.

The Top 10 Spoken Languages are in the following order:

1. Chinese 
2. Spanish 
3. English 
4. Hindi 
5. Arabic 
6. Portuguese 
7. Bengali 
8. Russian 
9. Japanese 
10. Landan 

And then comes the following 2 languages as I see that we have quite a lot of Korean Seemit friends here.

11.  German 

12.  Korean  

What does this tell us?

1.  Right now the most popular language  on Steemit is English.

2.  Eventually in a few years time,  Steemit will become a world wide dominating social media. 

3.  It is a good idea to have your posts translated to Chinese.

I am  Chinese, so I should have my articles translated to chinese because there are many chinese people on board here.  This is how we can get more and more people to read our blog articles.

Eventually, it is good to have your posts in Spanish.  I know a little bit of Spanish because my mom speaks Spanish but my Spanish is not good enough for writing. So if you know Spanish, bear in mind that Spanish is the second most spoken language in this world.  Right now, we still need to wait for Steemit to dominate in the Spanish world.

Our Arabic friends will be very happy with this post as there is going to be great potential in the Arab world stretching out to the Pakistinians which ranks #10 in Landan.  

Koreans are steeming with great power here so keep moving on.
