This kind of thing is why I'm resorting to giving out votes by asking people to come to my post. I have one going today where I'm asking people to tell me how they found steemit an I upvote the response. I'm hoping it's a way to actually engage the community instead of just blindly voting. I believe steemit needs to become a community that empowers itself if it's really going to go anywhere. Agreed. Super important to get to know some people here, at least to the furthest extent possible given the online nature of steemit. Without developing that sense of community this place will turn to garbage. It's very similar to a real-world community like that -> you've gotta engage.
