Steemit and Mass-Flagging
Recently found some people who are spam commenting the same text with only slight variation on every new introduceyourself just to get followers like i pointed out in this Blogpost. Im not frightened to talk to these people and tell them what i think about it but now i ask myself the following:
What if i flag all of their spamposts? Could i have disatvantage (like being recognised as a bot or so) because i flag a lot? The only thing that i know (im not 100% sure so dont take it for granted) is that you got some kind of daily votepower wich counts for upvotes and flags. It wouldnt make a lot of difference if some new born tiny plankton like me flags a lot and i dont want to develop a new hobby as i got enough hobbies. ;)
But i do think we really need to take care of that Spamcomments. Im a digital native but when i first joined Steemit i was kind of overstrained with the few (bot) comments i received. People new to Steemit have enough to learn to understand it and handling Bots and recognising Masscommenters from normal and real comments (wich are NOT copied and pasted) maybe is too much for them. They easily fall for the Spam.
Im quite new here but i really need the advice from the steemit staff or someone who knows more. This is why i ask @steemit, @dan, @zurvanic, @wmougayar, @andrachy, @sneak, @jamesc, @val-a and @cass for help as i dont know who to ask else. I found your names in a Wiki but Googling for the Flagging Topic didnt help, sorry.

Yes, im talking about you. And i find it interesting that you feel offended. Yes, you are allowed as everyone is allowed to flag things. Whats your problem? Cant you understand that providing the same copy and paste text a thousand times is bad practice and disliked by the community as it doesnt provide value? You are clearly advertising your Blog wich is a business. Doing that in this extensiveness is considered spam for me and im sure im not alone. If people like you wont stop, there will be formed an army of spam-flaggers (if not so already?).
You can Blog as much as you want and please dont take my writing personal. You can welcome people but people arent copy and paste money! They are individuals and spam is really ugly. It destroys value of the community. Imagine everyone would do the same! You cant read one real comment anymore! People would leave Steemit and you wrote everything in vain. I ask for some understanding about what i said and if you dont, then this is not my problem but it could be yours in the future.
Imagine steemit getting bigger and bigger. Your spam stays there for everyone to see. What if millions of People begin to flag your "blog is very nice" copy and paste shit? You will be invisible then. Why not be happy with what you got and build up your base slowly but steadi on a good foundation that lasts for a longer time?
It takes alot more to offened me! I read every blog I comment on, I leave My message and if you dont like it, it a shame! Cant please everyone! I wish you All the luck you are going to need it.

It was already with me.
Do not be blinded. They are always the same but hopefully they will be invisible at some point because enough people click on the Flag button. Always writing the same (or almost) the same thing is spam and spam is an illegal business practice, so I point that out. Money can be made here and the community can be ruined by such spammers, so we need to be active ourselves. That is also the idea of Steemit. The users have the power. We also have to use it. ;)

You may be a very kind person and if you are you may really dont take it personal and think about it. I know that many of us just try to make a living but i really believe in steemits flagging and upvoting system and if it works your practice wont work very long. See it as a good advice. I dont want to offend you. Do you understand?
