Steemit is down BUT NO reason to panic.

Here are the facts for now:
- Here's an update from @sneak => https://steemit.com/steemit/@sneak/steemit-com-is-experiencing-a-ddos-attack
- Your wallets are safe (if this is just a DDOS attack on steemit).
- There are still Steem blockchain full-nodes that are functioning and accessible . I have personally tested @gtg => meaning the blockchain is secure => meaning all your steem accounts are secure.
- steemit.com is just a frontend of the steem blockchain meaning if steemit is down it does not necessarily mean we have lost the steem blockchain and our funds in it.
- There are many ways we can access the blockchain. Try asking the witnesses --( that's one ). I created this on my local node.

However, such events can still push price even lower, 25k is not the limit of the decline for Steem...
Makes us wonder, was that the ultimate goal of the attack? I hope not.
Yes it can be for manipulation of the price IMO.

Buti na lang sir at okay naman pala. Kababili ko lang ng konting Steem nung nagdown, nakatulong talaga yung pag-reassure mo real-time sa discord.
akala ko nga sir market manipulation scheme kaya binabantayan ko din price tapos bili sana sa dip hehehe. Pero legit pala na attack on steemit. heard from their devs, they are setting up a better architecture so hopefully medyo mahirapan naman ang mag DDoS sa kanila.
