Getting a post into trending or hot section is difficult? Not anymore but for a limited time only and no extra cost. Here is how!

Seriously not easy

We all write posts in the hope that it will at least get views and upvotes which are worth the effort that we have dedicated to the writing and the background research. More often than not, our posts goes unnoticed and get very little traction. The simple reason to this is that we are not all good at marketing. We do not know how to sell ourselves.

Most of us have not sold anything in our life. We have not got the opportunity or we simply do not know how to sell something. There is only one place which we have definitely tried to sell something and that was ourself. How? During an interview, trying to convince the interviewer that we are the best available and they should hire us. The people who have been able to sell themselves were those who knew their products (in this case, their knowledge and skills).

Just creating a product and put it up for display is no guarantee of success. Do we know our target market? Do we know who will use the product? What are the clients' preferences? How do we design the product to attract as many buyers as possible. The answer is all in marketing. We will keep this discussion for another post as we have got another important task at hand.

After writing a post, just sitting and waiting for the right people to see it will not make it go anywhere. Maybe in one or two occasions, it will happen but most often than not, we end up disappointed. This can all change today thanks to the new platform which has been created for us Steemians. This platform is called dtube. If you have not heard of it till now, let me show you how you can get into the trending section easily.

Trending has never been so easy

With dtube, we have this opportunity right now to make our post go into the trending section very easily. As you can see above, I have my post DJI Phantom 3 - Attempt #4 - Great dawn view trending in 4th position on dtube. This has also enabled my post to be in the trending section of Steemit as well. The snapshot was taken on 18th August @ 7 a.m. GMT with the post only 12 hours old! 

How is this possible? Dtube is a new platform and like anything which is new, the early adopters always have an advantage. There are less videos which are posted on dtube at the moment and hence if you are posting something, it will be right up there in the new / hot section and everyone checking out dtube will be seeing your post.

Take a look at the last 2 posts in the above snapshot. They are currently worth above $2 and $5 and yet they are in the hot section. Some more upvotes and they will be in the trending section. There is a massive campaign going on to make dtube the next youtube and having videos uploaded early on in the platform will allow you be seen and noticed very quickly.

Do not waste any more minute reading this post and start making your video to post on dtube.

Alert before posting

Just wanted you to notice this if you are new to dtube, when creating a video to upload, it will automatically appear as a new post on your Steemit blog page. This part is not like youtube. No need to copy the link and paste it in a post on Steemit.

Make sure you are having all your wording in the description section and insert the right tags there itself.
