Is there a place for paid content creation on Steemit?
I've been trying to recruit some friends recently to steemit and had a friend who's a professional paid freelance journalist reach out to be me with an interesting idea that seamed to make a lot of sense.
Paid Content Creation
Her suggestion for herself was why would she spend all that time creating a following and commenting. Spending those first few months struggling to build an account. When maybe someone who's already established but not blogging everyday would just pay her to create content for them. At first I scoffed at this idea, but the more I though of it, it makes perfect sense. She offered to write some of my blogs, but generally I enjoy the process and have a lot to say, plus I like keeping all the rewards for myself. So I didn't think it was a good idea, but maybe it's just not a good idea for me.
She's a professional journalist and has written about just about anything during her career. She's also had a blog through the years as well and just didn't see the benefit of starting from scratch again.
There are a lot of accounts with pretty big followings that aren't blogging a whole lot. Why not hire a professional writer to create a post a few times a week, then split the proceeds or pay a set rate. I've heard that @jerrybanfield's stuff is written by someone else.
I'm wondering if any other accounts are routinely doing this? Or anyone interested in giving it a try?
The more I think about this, I think it could be quite possible in the coming years to even see this kind of thing take over steemit. I'm sure the professional content would really start to float to the surface, it may even help to raise the overall level on the platform and maybe squeeze out some of the spammers and shit posters.

check with busy whales and developers, they use such services. steemgig might have better resources related to freelance services.
I forgot, there are also looking for steemit translations in various manuals and guides to other languages if that applies to the skillset. should be on the trending page.

Its an interesting idea. There are a bunch of good bloggers out there for hire. More interested in cash than crypto. @ironshield
IDK yo, this is a place for content creators, or so i have been told from day one. Things might have changed or i have to follow differnt rules then everyone else but i could see people killing your account if they found out and you were making money.
If you wernt making alot they wouldnt care but if you break into that upper pay out level expect the whales to be looking for any reason to flag you.
Just in my opinion though.

I am not so sure. I mean maybe? I just don't know who would want to write on somebody else blog when they could just write on there own.
This seems like another way that those that are already established will increase the gap between themselves and minnows. 😢
