THE PURPOSE OF SELFLESS SERVICE TO STEEMIT
Blog and earn was the norm, but it really goes way deeper for some people.....
This people are groomed steemians who have been helping new users, they been up and running at beck and calls of rookies, trying to establish them. For example; the brains behind @minnowsupport, these are people who had delegated steempower for such project to help nurture smaller communities.
Without calling names and for transparency, each of these folks have no obligation to all they are doing to grow the community, but they still do it anyways. Now you must be wondering what they get in return: They got Nothing!
What about the Admins and Mods in on different channels and chat rooms, are they getting paid? As far as i know, nobody gets a dime. And you can not help but wonder how they do that without getting tired of it .
Selflessness is the virtue of this guys, it is hard keeping track of them all all but each time i come across their blogs i upvote with all my little power, if they are not getting paid they why can't we rally them with out ti ny little votes?
Truth is, not all of this Steemit-Helps are so friendly, but that does not cloud the fact that they have some loads on their shoulders.
The Help we render is the fees we pay for our stay here on this planet.....
Each time i remember this quote from an old movie, i try to apply it into daily activities and what i experience around me. Concerning this good people helping all of us here in one way or the other, what do can we do to appreciate them?
Sadly, here on steemit and from minnows to dolphin/whale point of view; we do not really have the capacity to appreciate them through our supports.
Bottom line is, selflessness has taken some folks far on this platform and so it should not stop from them. We all ; little Fishes, Minnnows, Dolphins, Orcas and Whales should all pay it forward- that is how we grow steemit larger than life!
Selflessness is truly a virtue that few people possess. As a newbie myself, i have been welcomed by great people from Nigeria especially and the world at large. We cannot thank all the selfless steemians enough. We appreciate you guys for the love! 🙌

We make posts because we want to share knowledge and interesting subjects. But it is hard not to get disheartened when your hard worked posts are buried in seconds or minutes under a torrent of shite. The quality of 90% of steemit posts is so dire I wonder how much longer I will be on the platform. Is it worth my time? It's not a question of money. It's always a question of time and right now I feel like I'm wasting it.
You are very right about the disappointment, but On Steemit at times; Good post ≠ Huge Rewards.

I don't agree or believe you. As I have heard Elon Musk state in many interviews. What is incentivised will happen! Steemit incentivises making posts to make money. It does not incentivise making good, cogent posts to make money. Hence steemit is full of people posting nothing of worth to try and grab at some meagre value. Another problem this platform seems to have is that it is so fucking meta. The basic rule of making tons of cash on steemit? Post your tits or write about steemit and crypto currencies. Or just constantly post random images you found on google and pass it off as 'hey look at this funny meme I made.'

I think from your points, you been expecting so much in rewards from Steemit which is not cool cos you ain't getting that and its making your conclusion about steemit clouded.

The top earning authors you see can earn Huge from shitty post cos its the dividends from posting for average of 8 to 9 months non stop which some earn them nothing.

Yes, I have only just joined. But why should I stay? I see numerous posts from people who have been here for more than a year with high reputations complaining that HF19 has broken the platform combined with too many people joining dilutes the potential payouts for everybody. Add to that all the people stealing images from other sources and passing it off as their own and earning money with bots or by only ever spending their voting power to upvote their own comments and posts. Why should I stay? Can you answer that? Other than to say 'if you stay you might earn some money eventually.' I will not waste my time. I do not give a fuck about the money unlike so many of the rest of you. I want genuine human interaction, not battered by illiterate internet dwellers and their peeliwally and glaikit ramblings and obsessions with their own genitalia and egos.

Altruism can get you kiled! but yes steemit REWARDS you for being a god person! , And IF you are actually a generous person, Steemit pays you to be yourself! Not just virtue signaling, and PRETENDINg to be compasisonaitw, the only peopel who actualy carte about others are the ones who consistently help others, and oh wether or not they do it in front of the camera makes no diference in how "god" of a person they are
So what if someone wants to make alil money off the act of giving some homeless person some money? Its not taking away from the kind act...the god dead is just being monetized! and some peopel just need to get over the fact that somepeople have figured out a way to profit from being kind! if you can make $20 off a post about how you juyst sent $10 to someone to help them out, then why not do it? Youll then be able to help ANOTHER person out with that extra $10 youmade AND make the original $10 back! Whats worng with this? It's foolish and childish to believe the only TREUE good deed is one that goes on in teh shadows! It has to be a SECRET when u helop someoen! Honestly if u just give away ur money all day u end up broke and homeless if youre not careful! Why not find a way to actually make a profiut off your generous donations to the needy, so that the act is sustainable?

even if some are born poor, as long as you can make money from $0 then the potentail is there for anyone to succeed and meritocracy is the way of the futiure! Steemit will facilitate this meritocracy in Africa
and people will be motivated buy the idea that hard work will pay off over steemit! Many i am sure in Africa become depressed over the corruption of public officials and their local business scene, so making money online and the use of bitcoin as a reserve currency in Africa is HOPE for al the young businessmen and women who want to find a way to make money OUTSIDE of their country, and the internet and steemit might just be the ONLY way to accomplish this for MANY MANY unskilled uneducated workers, who can STILL learn to Blog and end up making a GOOD living off steemit! And it wont take long for a small fortune saved in steem will end up becoming a very large fortune .....
You have a deep valid point dear friend, just that most religious people are advised not to publicizes helping others cos its show of pride and no blessing will come from doing that....
