A few more suggestions for the Improvement of Steemit...
Steemit needs a weekly or monthly newsletter that goes out to all accounts that will feature different users in different categories, updates everyone on the status of what's going on, talk about future plans, etc. (Most people don't even know about the Steemit Blog, I didn't for several months)
The UI (User Interface) needs a News area on the main UI that also has Site News and Featured Users and the live prices of the cryptos you want to follow as well as the price of Steem of course.
People could pay to be promoted in SBD to be featured in the News/Featured area on the UI.
Another Idea would also be since you guys at Steemit are seeking DEV support. Why not make the UI sticky, so that teh user could place DEV widgets all over the UI giving new features to the site that are created by Devs and chosen by each user like we do with Browser Extensions.
Just some more ideas that came to me.
