Part 2

Outside it is drizzling heavily, driven on a strong frigid breeze, the light is grey, and supporting myself with the edge of the door I stand blinking at the intensity of the natural light and gulping down lungful’s of chilly damp air. Before me rough uneven ground rises steadily away towards a range of mountainous hills, everything is covered in a thick layer of low scrub like bushes. Above the rumble of the generator, the piercing cries of gulls; turning slightly off toward my right I can see a rugged coastline with foamy waves crashing up against it.

We are alone! Dumped! Abandoned!

My head reels, I don’t understand, half falling half stumbling I retreat back inside. She is sitting now, slumped forwards. Aiming myself along the row of transport crates for support I stagger uneasily back to her side. My mind is racing, I can’t take in a fraction of what’s going on; I reach her side and grasp for her hand.
Instead she grasps mine, “Harry?” She looks how I feel, staring into space, “Harry, I know it’s you; it’s all rather confusing isn’t it?” I nod lamely and she continues, “We’re somewhere strange aren’t we?”
