Like I mentioned above you have a lot to do with your basics the foundation of your whole Steemit Journey. Writing, Reading, Upvoting, Commenting, Resteeming.

This is your motor, your drive, your horsepower. The better you are in your foundation, the more horsepower you have and will constantly get.

Take a look at the following Picture.

Imagine we are all cars here on Steemit. Imagine that the small VW Polo would have the same motor than the Ferrari. Both have the same specs. Again: Both have the same specs! From the outside, you would never think that this small Polo has such a power, but if you drive it, you feel the force. By the way, ​nothing is bad with a VW Polo.It's a great car and fulfills​ its purpose.

Now, imagine both cars cost the also the same, and you have to decide which one you take. Ah, I have to say that you have to make a decision. Which one would you choose​?​

I think most of you guys would nevertheless choose the Ferrari. Remember both Cars have the same specs, but you feel drawn to the Ferrari. Why?

Because of the appearance. The edges, the wheels, maybe the color, the exhaust pipes, the whole design of the Ferrari is better and more attractive. It could be also becasue of the Brand. It has a bigger emotional impact on you. Don't forget both cars have the same specs.

If you master the basics, you got a lot of Power, but you are still a VW Polo. The way how you do it let you become a Ferrari.

You can be a good writer but are you a good storyteller?

You can read a lot but are you reading stuff that brings you further.

You can comment on each post, but do your comment make that the author or maybe others fall in love with you?(Not literally meant)

You can resteem everything, but not everything is relevant to your followers.

It's not only important that you do the basics. To stand out from the others is the way how you do all those actions.

People are following you or want to participate with you for certain reasons. It can be your expertise in specific topics, but in the most cases, it's about who you are. Which kind of person you are. What makes you stand out from others? You need to answer this question for yourself.

You can write a perfect technical post, but if it is not fed with emotions it will not touch the heart of others. This point is not easy to implement. Because every person is different. You need to know for whom you are writing. You need to know what kind of comment you are doing. When you are chatting with others, get to know this person in order to serve this user better in the future.

Yes, you heard right. A good King is not a king who shows his might. The people decide if a king is good or not. And when do people say our King is good? When he satisfied their needs.

Don't get me wrong. I am not telling you to play a role just to please others. No, never! Your personality is significant. Your personality makes you a Ferrari.

But also with that, you can have a mentality of serving. Don't seek only what is an advantage for you, what is good for your followers or other community members? Praise, thank, encourage and even improve others in a friendly way. Try constantly to touch their hearts. To have an emotional impact with all actions your a doing. This is also an important point when we talk about followers. This topic we will discuss in the next part. Attract People!
