How to become a whale even without much Steempower!
I guess many Steemians want to become a whale on this site. To have more influence to shape the community, be attractive for other Steemians.
We know that a whale in this community is defined by his Steempower.
And to be one means you have to invest a lot of money or to earn much SBD which you power up.
And this is not possible for everyone at least in the beginning.
Also, the Power up process through your earned SBD will take some time.
Well, but what if we look at this from another perspective?
When you thought I would show you some kind of magic how you can get a lot of Steempower, quickly and without effort than I have to disappoint you. This is not what you are going to find here.
When I define a whale, I'm talking about a person who can influence people. Who can affect the lives of other for good. Yes, Steempower attracts, but I believe that it is possible even without a bunch of it to influence people.
I believe everyone can do this. Everyone has a voice and something to share. You have an expertise, and exactly in this area, you can influence and guide people. They can benefit from you.
For that, you don't need a lot of Steempower.
You can influence people with that what is in you.
And if you are good at it, have persistence you could see the same effect you see right now by current whales.
But to be clear, I am not saying that the whales are not delivering good content. They are! Some of them are really amazing, and there is a lot to learn from them.
I just don't want to tell you not to focus on numbers. Don't let numbers define your worth.
Bring forth what is inside of you and people will listen to you. Not everyone of course, but they will be people. They will want to hear your opinion on specific topics.
The more effort, time and love you will put into your content, not only in that in your whole steemit journey and with persistence, you will be a whale. The way might be longer, and that is fine but you will be one even without much Steempower you will influence people. You will be a whale!
You will be perceived as one.

This is the most striking post I read today. It is very inspiring! I learned that success must be earned. You are 100% right in your statement, "don`t let numbers define your worth." I read a lot of Steemit blogs talking about how to become a whale. Some, if not all, advised to focus on steempower and follow those people who have highest position on Steemit. At some areas, they are right but they neglected to encourage Steemitians specially those new starters (like me) to put their efforts, energy and time to write high-quality articles. Nevertheless, I am very thankful to read those articles which somehow help me to grow, learn, connect and interact with other Steemitians.
Right now, I do not have any articles with high value but after reading this post, I realized how foolish I am not to consider writing high quality articles as part of my Steemit journey.
I am very glad that I stumbled this post today. It excites and motivates me to go out from my zone and do things that will make others inspired.

When on Steemit is talked about whales it means people with a lot of Steempower.
But like I wrote in my post not everyone has the capacity for invest a whale amount.
BUUUUUUT...you can be perceived as a whale by delivering good content with persistence.
I truly believe that this is possible for everyone, but the way is not easy.
Don't give up.
