I agree, the Steemit Inc. strategy within Steemit could be a lot clear - I've always advocated for a tab of their own on Steemit with news and latest development updates.
The potential is really great. Its the best available, I am aware of thats why I am here. Yet even when improvements or changes are made there is not very good explanation or integration of it for the majority of common people on social media. I would really like to see more clear communications.
That's actually a very good idea. Like, take cover photos. I didn't even know that feature had been added until I started seeing people's profiles with it

However, I still submitted ways to improve to make it more user-friendly on several posts in the comments sections. I really hope they listen but I'm still a minnow. I really enjoyed your video. I think Steemit will leave Beta in 3-years or less IF they make it more user-friendly and listen to users's feedback to improve. If not, I think your 5-year estimate is right on! It's a long, slow slog of constipation back to full VP power again! I hate it too! Shame we can't buy a booster recharge pack that goes straight back into the rewards pool :)

There's an account doing something along these lines, I believe it's @promoted. Upvote bot that rewards using the built-in promote tool that burns SBD, helping with inflation.
Sounds like a good idea. I believe no one has the private key to @null - but the SBD still exists?? An SBD destruction process is still being planned I read somewhere??

The Way I See It Is Steem Is Indeen Still In Beta Phase, Due To People Taking Advantage Of The Current HF19 Weaknesses And Quality Posts Getting Not Getting Any Attention... But The Good Thing Is That We Have Extremely Understanding Witnesses Who Don't Try To Hard Fork The Blockchain :)
As much as I love Steemit it is NOT good at PR, communications or any of that stuff. Could be so much more successful if it was taken seriously.

I think Ned has already a smart plan about everything. We have to wait only but also I would love to see more transparency from him.

Unfortunately, it would have to cost more money than the rewards it would return, otherwise it would be massively abused.

They'd need a formula to modify it by your stake, but then you could get refilled at a low power and immediately get a huge delegation or buy-in...
Game-theory thinking always leads one towards the path of easiest abuse first...
The daily rewards pool is really just like a game of chess - a zero sum game as people use their Kasparov-like moves to take the biggest share! :)
