I just posted my first post and my video link did not work. Does anyone know how I can edit or delete? Sorry if this is a dumb question, I am new here! Also I embedded the youtube video, but the html did not parse, any advice? Thank you :)
You need to enter inside the post you want to edit, and click in edit link in the right side at the bottom of the content box. You have 7 seven days to edit the content.

Why isn't this more clearly stated when posting? This is ridiculous. No way I'm going to use a blog I can't edit a week later. This one issue is reason enough for everyone to stop using STEEM and cash out whatever STEEM they have for something useful.
If you're complaining about storing things in the blockchain, you might have taken a wrong turn on the internet. What I believe you are looking for is Facebook. Have fun with your censorship.
If you click on the post, down in the lower right hand corner of the post is a section with social media icons. Just to the left of it is the 'edit' link. steem on!
I can't figure it out either. Just cut and pasted an old travel story that I wrote years ago from MSWord. Now it looks strange once posted. Perhaps this blockchain social media doesn't work. It's certainly not easy. I did enjoy watching very wealthy emirates on date however. No kidding. Glad I'm not them. Site reminds me of facebook unfortunately.
i was actually looking for a way to change the name of my Steemit Blog from "My Blog" to something else....or at least add another Post to it, which is IMPOSSIBLE. i have to say man, i joined cuz i wanted D-Tube, then when i saw what Steemit was all about, i got exited....now i feel let down. if u guys want to lure those damn idiots away from Screwedtube man, please PLEASE get with it!

I think the 7 day limit for editing blog is a bummer! The content sometimes needs to be updated not to have outdated information over period of time!
