3 Tips for How to Gain 10 Reputation Points in 24 Hours
Hustle Up
Within 24 hours of my first post on the Steemit platform, I have successful gone from 25 reputation points to 35. Sure, that's not much in the grand scheme of things but you're going to need these first ten to build up to the higher point levels. Scaffold the way up with good content and hopefully we don't fall down to lower reputation points.
While this is not any sort of official guide regarding how to grow your reputation points, I aim to document my experience and learn from other Steemit users. This brings gets us to what I learned in that first day.
1 Publish That First IntroduceYourself Post
My IntroduceYourself post talks about who I am and the things I like to do or learn about. It also has a pretty sweet foliage picture I took out the middle of a harvested field. Yours can be similar or say whatever you feel is important. However, getting an initial post published to Steemit is an immediate catalyst for activity in the network.
Follow Fellow Steemians
There are probably thousands of people on Steemit that share your similar interests. So, begin by connecting with anyone that is upvoting or commenting on your first post. They have already taken a stake in your content and your account!
I'd like to add that you should be seeking out users that have higher reputation scores to engage with on Steemit. This is a social network and who you associate with is likely to affect how your content cycles through the lists via the algorithm.
Engage Other People's Content
This might be obvious but get out there and return the favor. Upvoting, resteeming and commenting on posts is critical!
Metrics & Conclusions
The tactics I've shown in this post are just the options that were available to me on Steemit organically without investing money or relying on third-party apps. I've tried to be as transparent about my methods and the results they have attained as I can.
You can clearly see from the screenshots here everything I posted in the first 22 hours (3 original pieces of content & Resteemed another 3 that I liked). Also, from the first image in this post you can see my followers (13), number of posts I made (53 total, thats posts & comments I believe), and finally the number of other accounts I followed (33).
What do you think about these 3 tip suggestions? What methods are you using to improve your reputation here on Steemit?
