Change is coming!!! But How????
Have you ever felt that you didn't matter? That you are too small in the grand scheme of life to make a difference? Well, No more!!
I've seen words and ideas changing things and people on steemit, but the change I'm talking about comes through a community of people called https://www.sumofus.org. They are a community of people, 14,289,615 strong, who work together to stop " big corporations from behaving badly." Their tag line is "People before Profits" and they focus on environmental issues, protecting the little guy...all those things in life that one person can't seem to change, but in bigger numbers, it's totally possible. I am so proud to be a part of this steemit community, where I've met a lot of intelligent, caring people who I know would be as proud as me to be a part of the SumOfUs community as well.
HOW you ask? Well, your part is SIMPLE: signing petitions that are important to you. THAT'S IT!! I receive their emails with new campaigns and I decide if it's important to me. They do the rest!! And trust me, they are very effective! They also send you updates on the petitions you were involved with so you can see the outcome. It feels awesome to be a part of very necessary change!!

Hey Lynn, you know exactly what you are doing... this is a fantastic post that is descriptive but also gets to the point... I even love the smiley at the end! ;)
it lets people know what you are up to and encourages people to join you. Its awesome... Please bring to my attention any efforts you are doing because I'm in your camp about the corporations vs the people... and lots of others against us people too :)

Aww I'm so sorry you feel this way! Thanks to steemit you matter to me now! When I sometimes feel like that, I realize that I'm focusing on everything negative in my life, so I find one positive thing and repeat it over and over and over again in my head. Sounds stupid but it works for me! Chin up, every day is a new day:) Cheers!!
