779,000+ Twitter Accounts Just Saw a Link to Steemit. :)
This just happened a couple hours ago:
That's pretty cool. :)
It's a nice follow up on my post yesterday about growing the Steemit user base by doing awesome stuff. Now I get not everyone has worked for a radio personality to get this type of exposure, but even then, he never would have seen it if I didn't take a shot and send him a link. It's been over 5 years since I worked there, but I figured, "What the heck? Maybe he'll see it." Not only did he see it, he retweeted it!
Here's the tweet: https://twitter.com/DaveRamsey/status/824989868765896704
I'm pretty stoked right now. :)
Luke Stokes is a father, husband, business owner, programmer, voluntaryist, and blockchain enthusiast. He wants to help create a world we all want to live in.
Very cool Luke!! Our numbers are exploding on Twitter. Finally the community is waking up to the power of social media. Our Tweets are down due to 100 manual curation for Twitter now. That Tweet would fall under Mentions. Now if we could just get Large Twitter Card Images we would see another nice jump in interest.
Excellent! Keep up the great work, @hilarski
I did a few RT's of Daves Tweet to hopefully drum up some attention from him with my accounts.
Man, you've got a whole army of Twitter bots working for you, don't you? Heheh.
All for the benefit of everyone around us.
Great momentum! Let's keep it up :)
Super stoked and on the rise too! All for one and one for all! Thanks for sharing this great news, namaste :)
If you do something like this again the last paragraph should have links on how to join steemit how to post how to earn cash.
Maybe. Or maybe not. Human psychology and motivational psychology are tricky things. Would it be shared less if people thought it had an agenda to get them to join some site? Do people join new social media sites the first time someone shares something cool and asks them to join (or of they do, do they stick around)?
Long term grown, IMO, will take people seeing great content over and over again to the point where they will want to join and use the site, regardless of if someone holds their hand through the signup process. That's just my opinion, though.
That's very nice. Congratulations for the house!
Nice one!
That was a really cool promo. Well done.
Resteemed :-)
Great job, Steemins!
GOOD JOB man! We need more of this exactly!
When I read your original post about paying off the house the first thing that came to mind was Dave Ramsey. I've been a fan of his for a long time.
I worked for him for almost 4 years as a developer and a small dev team lead. He's pretty dogmatic, but I enjoyed the times I hung out with him in the lunch room. He's helped a lot of people, including me.
That's awesome! We did the Financial Peace University over 10 years ago. He is a little extreme for me, but I know it works and he has helped tons of people.
I was just telling my wife the other day how much easier it is to spend with credit &debit vs. cash, way to easy! Like Dave says, spending with cash hurts. LOL, back to cash.
Pretty cool... Congratulations BTW!!!
