In my daily effort to continue to do my part to raise awareness of other content, I have a couple of new gems to feature. Please take the time to check them out and give them an upvote and some comments. I think every writer appreciates the upvote, but would love some dialogue as well.

Bitcoin micropayments are already available in the web browser Brave

I can remember when I first delved into Bitcoin back in 2013, the one problem I heard Bitcoin could solve was the issue of micropayents. I thought an entirely new world and life could be opened up for artists, writers and creatives because they could charge small transactions based upon the content consumes and get something closer to fair value for their work. Reading through this article by @frankve about the new micropayments feature in the web browser Brave, made me feel as though that dream may finally be realized. There is still a ways to go towards wider adoptance, but this could be the first real step towards that initial dream.

The Perks of Science: Research Startup Giving Away 10% of Its Company to Scientists

There is no doubt that knowledge is power and that is particularly true in the realms of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). The concept of first mover advantage cannot be understated, but it can also be a hindrance to progress because of fist mover advantage (as it relates to copyrights and access to research). This article by @futurism-news is absolutely amazing. The gist is a company in Estonia wants to have eligible individuals, universities, and organizations from all over the world to help define a universal format for scientific projects. In return, it will offer stock in the company as compensation. It's pretty bold idea you should read about.

SteemitPhotoChallenge Entry -- Pierpont's Library

Since I was a child, libraries had such a mystique about them. I could go to a place and have access to some of the greatest stories that could transport me anywhere my imagination could take me. I had access to almost every answer to almost every question, right there in one building. One place I'd wish I had visted while I lived in New York was the J.P. Morgan Library and Museum. The photograph from @deviedev is absolutely beautiful. Check it out.

I created a service where you can cashout SBD to Amazon Gift Card Codes

For STEEM and STEEM Based Dollars to have any value outside the system, they must have utility. The game changer for Bitcoin was when Gyft took them for gift cards. In this article by @grinderman, it would appear he is trying to help create that utility by cashing out STEEM Based Dollars fr Amazon Gift Card Codes. Check it out and spend some cash.

@lpfaust thank you for including my photograph! Morgan's library is so equisite--definitely a must see for anyone visiting/living in NYC.

You're welcome. It's an excellent shot and I regret not making it to the library when I was there. I passed by it a million times on the way to work each morning. When I get back to NYC it's at the top of my to do list.
