STEEMIT TO FREEDOM!!
KENICAMZ #146: What's up friends! Well the daily vlogging has clearly slipped into oblivion haha, no worries I'm fine with that. My priorities right now have switched completely to baby mode and that's ok. Kai has been dealing with silent reflux for the past week or so and that means way less sleep for mom and dad mwahaha! I mean I'm laughing now, only because we've had some really rough nights and some funny challenges to deal with and yet the adventure of becoming parents is absolutely amazing. So humbling, so raw and so enlightening daily.
I mean anything you think you've prepared for or are ready for.. yeah blow that out the window. Some ways, some how you're gonna get pressed and the sooner you accept that the easier and more rewarding it gets, in my newbie opinion lol.. read more of this blog post here http://kenicamz.com/steemit-to-freedom
So to recap on some of what I just posted about on my blog, without repeating myself or lazily cut n pasting of course. I've been getting more involved with the Steemit community and really been enjoying reading the articles and getting to know people here. It's so inspiring to know that there are actually many of us out there who've been treading similar paths toward self-empowerment, freedom and sovereignty. I'd like to send some love to my bro's @SamStonehill for getting his steem going and testing the waters so to speak and @Sebcam as he said, we've found our new home.
While I did get set up here over a month ago, what with all the newborn stuff it took a back seat. Since then I've been dipping my toe to feel the vibe here. Mostly late night reading #introducemyself and getting started posts while bouncing the baby and burping. Now that things seem to have settled a bit, I'm actually getting really excited about sharing more. There's so much I want to talk about and feel could be of value to our growing community.
Thanks for reading this far, if you're new here.. I think that's us #minnowsunite right? I'm excited to see how things grow for us all. If you're a bigger fish out there what are your best tips and advice for us newbies? I think I'm gonna revise my intro blog and add some more backstory now that I've figured out how to post videos and format better.

Time spent with kids is a time wisely invested. Its an investment with a huge interest rate that can be claim for a lifetime.
Well put, I absolutely agree. It's funny how I always heard parents say how precious these moments are and how quickly time goes by. Only really made sense now I'm watching as Kai literally grows before my eyes day by day. I can hardly believe it, yet the moments of eye contact and his cheeky smiles makes it all incredibly real and surreal all in the same moment.

Great tag tip, I didn't know that cheers. Yeah you've inspired me to write more and it seems here the long form style is much more appreciated. I like that cos we can cover a lot of ground, I personally wanna get caught up to the newest adventures lol!
Getting over my writing block now though, it's so funny how most don't like the video but I think we prefer it. Spoken flow has no going back and rewriting, or spelling mistakes haha! I'm gonna try to write a bit a day and see how we go. Keep it up bro, I can't wait to see what the community thinks of all the Seb insights you have to share.

Oh man you're right it can be a drag but thankfully I've got an amazing partner and we've been sharing the experience fully. The good out weighs the bad for now lol. Thanks for reading and commenting, I appreciate that.
Likewise I really enjoyed your intro POST by the way. You've lived a full life so far, great that you feel the call to keep sharing and teaching. I'm not much into metal though I do love to ride, used to own a GSX-600 and then 750. Now I scoot around on a moped on the streets of Chiang Mai lol. We had high hopes of motorbike touring all over the world, now little man is here I think that's gonna change to van life instead.

I wanted to say this even if you already know it. All you invest in your children is returned 100 fold. Yesterday I Skyped with my eldest son and granddaughter and it was a joy. Later my youngest son called and we chatted. My boys (they are men I know, but will always be my boys) call their Dad every day. I gave up insignificant stuff for them, was not always the best Dad, but they knew I always loved and cared about them. You guys are doing the right thing.
Musically I use the term metal, but to be fair we have a madrigal, some acoustic stuff, straight ahead rock, and yes some metal. I am hard to musically classify.
Riding is riding, you still can feel the wind in your face so keep riding! :) Blessings to you and yours.
Thanks for these insights man, your generous wisdom is much appreciated. I promised to always do my best to make sure Kai knows he is loved unconditionally every single day. To be a good father has always been something important to me since I don't know my own.
