RE: Gratitude To My Fans Who Asked After Me... To All Newbies, Take Commenting More serious: Let Me Show You How To Make Your Comments Count...

in #steemit7 years ago

Dear @eurogee ,

Honestly? I don't like mentioning your name in my comment at all. Why should I, if I write a response to your post, after all?

Makes no sense for me, and is too formal. Way too formal for an online social media site.

Sort:

Use your own method, there's really no style set in stone in socialising. I may be wrong here, but I stand to be corrected if there is :)

Yea, I see nothing wrong with it. Comes down to personal style. I will sometimes use a persons tag, and sometimes not. But in essence, you are right. I will go back and look at my posts and respond to the comments. It really doesnt matter either way if someone decides to tag me in them.

I do think that writing thoughtful and constructive comments is very important. A well placed meme can get me to laugh too. :)

It'd be good if you reply the genuine guys that read your blog, not the spammy message of nice, good posts, those don't really deserve a reply :)

I tend to just go right over those comments anyways :D

They are obviously commenting for a potential upvote, or to upvote themselves. At least try to add to the conversation.

That's what I do too, I do not have energy to be entertaining spammy comments :)

Exactly!!! All those Nice post,Interesting post and all sort of comment do piss author off, I think people are becoming too lazy to read and this is having bad effect on some of our people.... We need to see steemit beyond SBD, the earlier we know it is also a ground of learning the helpful itvis

Those guys are just too much in a hurry to read. Reading is getting harder with each passing day. Do you doubt this? Do a simple experiment, write a 1000-word article and insert insane stuffs randomly inside it, send it to people you know. Relax and see how many would get back to you to ask what the heck you mean by the things you inserted. Lol

LOL.... I think you like illustration

Hehehe. This illustration is funny really.

Hahahahahsh. The truth is reading not too easy sometimes. It's better to upvote and go than writing short words

@eurogee

An applause!

You said it all bro. Everybody have different perspective of things. The focus should be the end; making meaningful comments, not the means.

Afterall, it is a social media.

Fullstop. Period. C'est fini!✌️

Hello @eurogee,

I must say sincerley that you have dished out a very sensitive aspect in terms of steemit,the comment aspect is very sensitive and i learnt new things today from this post,Sorry once again for what happened recently the lord will restore you in 100 folds,stay blessed.

Hello @dayjee

Thanks for your concern and the read. I am quite fine now

@eurogee

Hello @katamori

NB: whatever that would be discussed here is not meant to discredit other styles of comment, but to discuss and pass knowledge with respect to a comment Style I find more revealing.

I think you will find Good response in the Above quoted piece. Appreciate your views though

@eurogee

Definitely, I had no problems with your views, I just told mine.

I mean, I just simply would not encourage people to call me on my name on a social media site, because as far as I see, the internet culture works differently.

But then again, no hatred on my behalf.

Hatred? Never meant that. Cheer up
