ARE BOTS GOOD FOR STEEMIT
Since i have told you about STEEMNOW.COM where you can check about all of your recent activities of your account so i was checking the people who were trying to upvote me so most of the people who were upvoting were bots looks but like they make the numbers of upvotes high but you wont make alot from them ,Bots have always been a thing here,
ARE THEY BAD FOR THE STEEMIT COMMUNITY
I still can't figure out most of them but i would say that they can still make you money on your posts and might attract more people because of the high number of upvotes on your post, but they are bad for the community in general because you are just spending your time and not much of the people can see them , I think there are genuine and fake botsHowever the majority of the bots are spammers but We have to live with them anyway

I am also formulating thoughts on this and yesterday there was a good post on it too. It is what it is...lol..that is where I am right now. btw I use them.
Personally I love resteembots as they help to get more exposure for my posts. But most upvote bots are unproductive and must go. @OriginalWorks and @treeplanter which has a great cause are great bots. treeplanter actually lost 80% of donations by doing the right thing.
The worst part about upvoting for SBD bots is that people like me are forced to use them just to keep up with the rest as a minnow.

What's even worse is the human spammers. I've come across many recently. IMO they are the greatest threat to steemit. The selling point of steemit is the quality of the community. When the quality goes down, the value of steemit goes down.
yeah you are right many of the people think that by doing that they will get rich
I've started flagging serial spammers as I got sick of them. They are the single greatest threat to steemit. I can't do much alone. If you find comment sections like this https://steemit.com/@aasik/comments or this https://steemit.com/@mdarif11/comments who also tend to have plagarised content according to @cheetah
Give them some flags. I've also tend to notice that 90%+ of them started on November and have South Asian origins.
For someone who claims BOTS are bad you did send a lot of SBD to @minnowbooster ...
I also said that their are also good bots which we can use
