BeyondBitcoin is a weekly podcast, more than 200+ episodes.  Get the news before anyone else does!

If you've never heard or been to the BeyondBitcoin live radio recording before, you really are missing out. Especially if you're someone who buys and sells crypto coins and invests in Bitcoin related technologies..

Every Friday, people meet together with their computers, headsets, and microphones running free software called mumble. You can even download an APP called plumble and connect that way too.

Usually there is about 25 to 45 people all connected.  

The majority of people just listen, and type in the text chat.  Often there are about 5 guest speakers who have a 10-15 minute time slot, and they share updates on new things happening.  They will talk about what they're building, what things are going to be released soon.   It's pretty exciting to be on the very leading edge of the news this way.

After each speaker does their news update, they then field questions from the audience by both text and voice chat.  This gives people an opportunity to quiz the guest speaker and many times, you can actually influence a project by sharing a very good idea.

Many steemit users are starting to join, and there are quite a few wealthy "dolphins and whales" that are part of the BeyondBitcoin community.  It's a good way to socialize with other people and get your name out there.  If you let people get to know you this way, often you'll get new followers too.

The BeyondBitcoin show is worth the 90 minutes or so that the show usually runs.  Afterwards comes my favourite part.  The AFTER PARTY.

After the regular recording of the podcast, we switch to a free for all.  It is during this time that more Q&A questions get asked, but in a non-formal way.  It gets funny when a couple people start debating things... we brainstorm together, and talk about anything we want.

Coin developers show up to these things. So do big names, like Steemit core devs too.  Bitshares devs and witnesses are often there.  The one thing we all have in common, is that we're just regular people and everyone is friendly and easy going.

I know it's a weekday for some people, so if you are at school or at work and can't make the show. That's okay.  The podcast is archived and can be heard anytime here:

A little about the show's host @officialfuzzy aka just Fuzzy

@officialfuzzy is the show's host, and he's an amazing gentleman who has spent a long time donating his time for this project. I don't know if he's 16 or 46, I think it depends on what he's talking about. :) Which means he's full of spunk and energy and he gets us all sharing great ideas for the greater good of everyone.  The thought of what he's done brings a smile to my face.  He doesn't like a lot of recognition for it either.  He's truly a gem of a human being.

Now about @timcliff ...

If you don't know @timcliff yet, he's a very active steemian who also runs a witness node for the network that makes steemit work.  Everytime you send or receive STEEM, it could be Tim's node that witnesses it.

Tim is also very active in the github for steemit.  He follows the latest news and developments and keeps us all informed on his blog @timcliff he posts summaries called Reports from the Witnesses or Witness Updates that are a very good read. He works really hard and if I ever need to know what's happening, I always check him out.

This is only the second time he'll be broadcasting on the BeyondBitcoin show, but I know he surprised everyone last time when he talked about Diablo II (the game) and no one saw what key role he and his brother played in that player community.  So when he talks next, I have no idea what to expect. That's the thrill of waiting to hear from him!
