#HowTo: Need to create a profile picture and cover photo?

I'VE noticed quite a few accounts with no profile picture and no cover page photo and yet, these Steemians have been around for quite some time now.

We all want to show off a few good pictures we've taken and we all know that accounts with profile pictures come across as more transparent.

So, I've included a quick how-to on doing just that.

First off, click on your icon on the top right of your home page:

Next, you'll want to click on Settings:

Here, you will find a few things you can change, namely, Profile picture url and Cover image url.

Now, if you already have images you'd like to use, you'll want to head off to: https://postimages.org/

Click on 'Choose Image,' and select the image you'd like to use and wait for it to upload.

Once done, you'll notice that a variety of links are now available - select and copy the 'Direct Link' and head back to your Profile Settings on Steemit and paste the link in either your Profile picture url or Cover image url, depending on which you'd like to update first.

Scroll down after doing so and click on update - this may take a few seconds.

Repeat the same steps for the other image you'd like to update.
