First Steps
Right now I did my first steps in the depth of steemit jungle...
I puplished a short introduction on me, did some comments, replied to some comments, follow some users, resteemed some posts and finally upvoted some posts and comments.
Some questions are still open:
I understood that there are different "currencies".
The Steem Power the Steem Dollar and the community karma.
The Steem Power is like a share and influences my further rewards and the influence power I have on this page, right ?
TheSteem Dollar is a cryptocurrency like BTC.
I can buy some more Steem Power with it or exchange it on eternal Cryptotraders in other Crypto-currencies, right ?
By submitting a story I will be paid 50/50 in both except I change this ratio.
Every 7 Days there is payment routine which gives 75 % of the worth of a post to the author, remaining 25 % to the people who upvoted it, right ?
Will I be paid for every story or just for stories upvoted by other users ?
What does the payment look like for comments, resteeming, replying and upvoting ?
Why some of my upvotes increase worth of an post not at all and some upvotes seem to gain 1 or 2 Dollars for the author and community.
Does commenting, replying and resteeming only influence my Steem Karma or even the monetary worth of an post ?

Here a few tips for starters snce you probably won't get any advice from those who comment under here, here's what I gathered thus far.
It's tough to make money at first so if that's your main cause to be on here grind that into your head straight away, that doesn't mean you shouldn't post content, you should, but enganging with others in the comment sections to grow your following is your best bet. Which categories?
Probably the introduce yourself one and the photography section but you can choose things that you have knowledge about too and then go from there just know that there is a lot of crap on here so plowing through that just to connect with others can be tough. Cheers.
