Advertising on steemit
So they started to put ads on the posts here on steemit.com, as is discussed at other places:

My own thoughts are less elevated. I am not going away for now, because I like a lot how the platform is build.
But I will pause my posting here and see how the situation evolves. If they don't take down the ads, I will leave. It's either ads or "coins", make up your mind @ned. If you plaster ads and blinks all over the clean layout of steemit.com you will just loose a good experience for a bad one.
