I thought about selling staff and auctioning it here and the upvotes i get the last person at certain time should be the winner and then posting the item to them. I get the money and they dont have to pay anything other than upvoting and the winner gets the item, what do you think about this? would it work? Thanks
Same concept, the difference being that if someone wants to buy a product at a reduced price (reduced by the value of the upvotes) then that should be made available.
Your concept would have everyone waiting till the last moment.
Could work, it kind of reminds me of the "Penny Auctions" that used to be popular at one time about 10 years ago.
It is an idea.

You have given me food for thought here!
Couldn't sleep last night and this occupied my mind for the most part of the wee hours of the morning.
it would work if and only if you could see ALL of the upvoters and know what order they upvoted in.
Currently the list goes from highest to lowest value of upvote and you only see the the top 20.
Which means that the current setup does not support this concept.
Not to shoot your idea down, it sounds like a good idea, in fact if the current setup supported it I would be among the first people to support it. Not to "win" anything, but to get people using this platform as are others (and possibly Steemians) using other social networks to buy and sell stuff.
Your idea proves that the options are almost unlimited here as far as utilizing and making the most of Steemit goes.
Thanks for that, every new idea opens up new visions of what Steemit could encompass one day.
