Couldn't sleep last night and this occupied my mind for the most part of the wee hours of the morning.
it would work if and only if you could see ALL of the upvoters and know what order they upvoted in.
Currently the list goes from highest to lowest value of upvote and you only see the the top 20.
Which means that the current setup does not support this concept.
Not to shoot your idea down, it sounds like a good idea, in fact if the current setup supported it I would be among the first people to support it. Not to "win" anything, but to get people using this platform as are others (and possibly Steemians) using other social networks to buy and sell stuff.
Your idea proves that the options are almost unlimited here as far as utilizing and making the most of Steemit goes.
Thanks for that, every new idea opens up new visions of what Steemit could encompass one day.
