Steemit Meet-up Success: Dinner at Capone's Pub and Grill in North Idaho!
Last night's first ever North Idaho Steemit meet-up went great!
Capone's is such a fun and atmospheric place, especially if you're a sports fan. There was quite a bit of excitement coming from the bar over the ongoing football game and the service there was so welcoming too. Definitely a good choice to have our little gathering. Oh, and don't forget the food! The food was great and everyone ordered something delicious! They've got some killer burgers, giant pizzas, and loaded salads! Yum!
I just love all the detail in the decor, and I spent a while just taking it all in. The tables even have baseball cards layered out in a fun pattern to give them that extra special touch. Spot on.
The Steemians that attended were me, of course, @gringalicious, @generikat, @jacobtothe, @rigaronib, @noboxes, @drobinson, @uglysweater, @alovelymess, @fullofhope, @trumpit, @lifes-a-donut, @hotrod, @freerunner. Some of the other members of my family that aren't on Steemit were in attendance also, including my mom. I like to think of her as being the behind the scenes "Steem-mom" as she's always a great support to her family of Steemians.
I am so looking forward to future meet-ups like this and I'd say it was a huge success! Oh, and I couldn't resist bringing something chocolate to the party so there were cookies!

Of course the steemit celebrity at this meetup was @gringalicious, however in addition to that, it was awesome to meet @generikat, and @jacobtothe for the first time. Just in the short time of talking with them, I am certain amazing content is coming soon to steemit. Did you guys get together to talk about steemit or is it to meet fellow steemians and just hang out kind of thing , that live near by !? Or Will they all be going to Steemfest with you !? Haha ! I don't think there's enough people by where I live here in British Columbia Canada to meet up with fellow steemians . Thanks for sharing , the food looks awesome ! It was just a friend meet-up but I completely understand that not everywhere has more than a few Steemians near each other. That's so sweet of you to say and I love chocolate too @karenmckersie!

Well, shoot, I just now see that this happened, after the fact. Looks like it was a fun evening. I will keep my eyes open now for any future meetups.
So sorry you missed this @flemingfarm. I think we will shoot for January for the next one, perhaps in Post Falls. I will make sure I keep you posted, now that I know you are near.

Oh my, the honor thing was totally mutual @noboxes! Your family is seriously the living embodiment of joie de vivre! Talk about infectious enthusiasm, lol! A group as cool as yours is beyond a blessing for the future of Steemit, and even beyond that it was just a pleasure to get to meet some amazingly interesting people.😊

Did you folks get together to discuss steemit or is it to meet individual steemians and simply hang out sort of thing , that live close by !? Or, then again Will they all go to Steemfest with you !? Haha ! I don't believe there's sufficient individuals by where I live here in British Columbia Canada to get together with individual steemians . A debt of gratitude is in order for sharing , the nourishment looks marvelous ! Particularly those Chocolate treats ! Mmmmmmm! Well, this meetup was primarily a meet and greet of nearby Steemians. I suspect next time will be more about in depth details of Steemit and of the crypto world at large.
Only two of us going to Steemfest, but we hope to represent everyone.
Maybe we should try to organize a meetup / mini fest in Vancouver?
