Hi, I noticed I'm mentioned here. I think you onto something on leaving meaningful comments. Never knew I'm considered a model of sort in that kind of thing, I usually leave comments on posts that I like, found interesting or read. You know it is hard to leave a comment on a post when you did not read it.

I noticed a steemit user do a contest, the contest is unique in its way. He wrote an article of about 1000 words. Great diction and grammar style, but there was a catch. Almost at the end, he inserted a clue for someone that actually read the article to win 2SBD. Do you know that it was only one person that saw it? The post had like 20 "views" when I happened to read it. In the comment section I saw like three "nice, great post." They actually know it was great but none won the SBD!

It's surreal, I may just do such contest. Hehehehe

I noticed another intriguing trend too, some may read and drop meaningful comment, but the blog owner just ignores it, especially when the commentator is a minor. But if it's a whale... you guys know the deal. Lol. I believe steemit is a social media first before it was an earning platform. People hardly socialise here, it's all about the SBD. Well, to each his own :)
