A Thank You Letter To Steemit – You Gave Us The Best Wedding Gift Ever!!!
Sarah (@cathi-xx) bought a dress today, but unfortunatly she is acting like tyrant and refusing to let me see it. I have decided to rent a suit because I don’t think I have enough space in my luggage to carry one back to England.
Sometimes it is great being a guy, we don’t have to worry about dresses and going on the endless journey of finding the perfect, matching shoes: we just show up at a rental place and say ”I like that one, make it fit me.”
Sarah is still trying to pick a date within the next two weeks, so we can send the marriage license to the visa office. There is nothing like getting married in a rush.
It is weird how excited I am, but it all comes to a crashing halt every time Sarah asks me to call a judge to make an appointment. As stupid as this might sound, I worry that each judge is attempting to catch me in some lie and I get really nervous, so nervous that my brain goes on autopilot and I actually start spewing out random, pointless lies.
Whenever they ask me tough questions like, “you want to get married this Friday?” everything begins to slow down like I am in the midst of a car accident and I am helplessly watching as my mouth blurts out, “We are trying to find a day when all my family can make it, but they keep dying off, so we need to get this thing done quick!”
I am trying to convince Sarah to make these calls, but she refuses since she doesn’t speak American very well and she is still hunting online for that perfect pair of shoes.
The odd thing is that while we are preparing for the wedding we are actually spending less time together than before, she is always off trying on some dress while I am home playing Fallout 4 to ensure that this thing goes off without a hitch.
In reality, it is crazy how busy we have been for the last two months: we’ve been preparing every document that you can think of to send to the Visa office and I even had to get biometrically scanned by the US government, which, contrary to popular opinion, does not make me a bionic man, you can imagine how disappointed I was.
So, the only thing left to do is to get married and go back to England to live happily ever after.
Thanks again everyone, you have no idea how much we appreciate all the support, because of you we can now have a nice honeymoon.

I have become way too invested in your writing and this romance. So much so that I read all 5 parts and the "poem" that kicked it all off! >D I think my favourite part was you attempting to crawl over a large man in order to use the bathroom.
