How much I made on Steem last month (First month)

in #steemit7 years ago (edited)

Well after my first month on steemit I found out that unless you have something really good to say, you don't end up making that much money. Although I have enjoyed talking with all the great people on here - and even enjoyed my little spat with one of the main creators of Steemit who ended up down voting one of my posts into oblivion with his $3,000,000 in steem - thank you Mr.X, I still have a lot of maturing to do if I am going to make this a profitable endeavor. Nevertheless, moving forward I hope that I can contribute to the community and I also look to invest some more capital into Steemit in the near future, seeing that the price is becoming more palatable .

POSTS MADE:1200
HOURS SPENT:200

Estimated Account Value
The estimated value is based on an average value of Steem in US dollars.
$267.91

With that being said, I want to finish off this post with a list of the type of jobs that would pay more or equal to what I made on Steemit last month for the time I spent. However, what I learnt was priceless....

Bamboo Collector Location: India Remuneration: $.60/hour

job 1.jpg

Construction Worker Location: India Remuneration: $.85/hour

job 2.jpg

Rice Farmer Location: China Remuneration: $.65/hour

Recycling Plant Worker Location: Bangladesh Remuneration: $.35/hour

Go work at McDonalds. You'll get paid more for the hours you put in. If you can't see that Steem is a ponzi then you're blind.

Everything currency is a Ponzi scheme. But you might as well try to make a few dollars in the process before it all comes crashing down like every currency has done so in history

Agreed. Ponzi or not there's money to be made. Have another upvote.

Thank you dear sir.

While I agree its incredibly frustrating seeing single sentences upvoted to hundreds of dollars, I think the key is perseverance. regardless of how good your posts are, it takes time to get noticed, but when you have been noticed, have a good following who like your work, you'll be one of those who post 'Had a shit day' and get paid $100 for it!

Lol thanks for the reply. Wont that be nice. Im use to failure so for now ill just keep failing

Lol this is hilarious. Keep fighting the good fight. Maybe someday you'll make it to American fast food worker wage. One can only hope!

Ill be the only guy working at Burger King With two university degrees.... Wait.... Considering the shape the economy is in, I will probably be the least educated come a few years from now. THANK YOU DONALD TRUMP

Sad but true! Boo Cheeto Man!!!!

Those are some hardcore jobs. Good post though. Hopefully your steemit income will inrease.!

Hi there! If you'd like to try to invest in alternative coins, you may read my last post to know which ones are going to be the best choice in July. https://steemit.com/bitcoin/@vikky/top-10-altcoins-going-into-july

Steemit is not about spending more hours in order to get more money. It is about slowly getting more followers, find the more profitable post hours and subjects, buy and sell Steem at the right time, suck some whale´s balls...

I have to study this article info about post timing and see if I can get a little better rsults. https://steemit.com/steem/@bitgeek/best-and-worst-times-to-post-on-steemit-further-analysis

If you find any info about how to properly suck whale´s balls please let me know.

LOL thanks. I've only humiliated by the whales I've met so far. Thanks for the content.

But but but i can see many single or double sentences with less or no value get upvoted so many times and more valued and organic content losing in see,
so is it the content or the creator that gets most of the upvotes?

The creator. But that's only my opinion . Its the same on YouTube in a way isn't it ?

Thanks for putting things into perspective, cool
