RE: The Daily Cover-Up - 5/02/18 - Transparency Under Attack.

in #steemit6 years ago

The developer of @transparencybot, @bycoleman has purchased delegated SP from Minnowbooster and up-voted his other accounts over the last 7 days @introbot 47% of the time, @botreporter 25% of the time, transparency bot 25% of the time and himself 2.9% of the time.

Producing multiple accounts and up-voting that account can be seen as taking advantage of the rewards pool. One person with multiple accounts may be looked into and addressed if/when illicit activity is noticed.

This information is being presented in the interest of transparency on our platform @bycoleman and is by no means a judgement of your work.

In addition @bycoleman has used the following bidbots in a previous post:

buildawhale for 69.63, $278.52 USD
upmyvote for 25.36, $101.44 USD
minnowbooster for 22.23, $88.92 USD
boomerang for 18.07, $72.28 USD
smartsteem for 12.21, $48.84

Dollar amounts have been taken from the current Steem price.

HYPOCRISY IS REAL!

Everybody knows I have used bidbots in the past, I have stated this clearly on several occasions. In-fact, I have instructed others on how to use them.

I lease SP from an individual not MN, build team is simply the intermediary, and they do a very fine job with this.

Yes, I have several accounts that I believe are assets to the platform, which i support directly and indirectly to ensure they are able to perform as they are intended. @Tranparencybot is non-profit, these votes will not return back to me.

I do hope to profit from my other services, it takes a great deal of time and resources to create and maintain these and each of them I believe are assets to the community. Each person is free to judge accordingly.

Is your intent transparency or to discredit the messenger?

I believe most people can see our motives pretty clearly.

I just though this was just a useless bot at first. Guess it's really just a a way to create a circle jerk and earn votes with the pretense of helping the community. I mean the bot upvotes are visible for everyone. @pleasestop and @duplibot are actually valuable bots that offer something real to the community and I support them. But @bycoleman just masquerading with a moral pretense. I remember that the bot was originally asking for upvotes and delegations when it made comments.

I was just neutral about this bot. But now I'm changing my mind. Thanks for the info.

The data they are showing is dated to when I did use bots, which I have clearly stated was the case. I justified them in the same way others do now, but I then found out how devastating they are to the platform.

I do support each of my bots, this is how they stay running. They perform services which I hope are assets to the community, this is the deciding factor.

@vimukthi

Now he is flaging everything he don't like.

He has a lot of accounts. We now collecting all information and do a marketing kampagne against this.

@resteem.bot

You are being flagged for your continued and direct harassment of the supporters of this movement.

These people will not be made victims by your malevolent remarks.

@bycoleman

You call it "movement", it is hard to see. You have so many accounts. Is the "movement" just you?

The only question I asked your steempower delegators, if they accept the selfvotes in your account network.

Just for the #transparency.

Why do you not build a stop function in your bot? For the Steemit user that don't want that.
