Don't be selfish and RESTEEM! - Suggestions to improve Steemit as a social media blogging platform
Hello fellow Steemians,
This morning, as I was sipping a steaming and delicious cup of coffee and pondering about Steemit, I came up with a solution to boost the growth of the platform all while reducing the selfish behavior of self upvoting.
What if a new "Resteem" reward category is added to Steemit? What this would allow us to do is earn let's say 60% on content creation, 20% on curation and a 2X multiplier boost on your curation reward for the posts that you have Resteemed. These numbers are just a suggestion. Please let me know in the comments how YOU would like the rewards to be distributed.
The reason why I think that the sharing of great Steemit based content is important is because many of us have our Steemit blog RSS feeds synced with our other social media accounts, and our posts and Resteems get reposted on other platforms, thereby raising awareness about Steemit and bringing new users to this great platform.

You're absolutely correct about ths stinginess of aome steemians to hang onto their resteem power. I've only been here a few days and can see all of the vile back biting and hoarding going on.
I'm almost certain the community will police itself and get better.
