Ive only recently used the philosophy described here and have been making large gains in curation rewards. Its great!

Ayup - it's really quite effective.

vote harvesters..but HEY...if it makes money that's what counts.
SO...
does that mean no more manual voting?

ummm...my vote power is about 15%...

As you know, my friend, vote power has a big impact upon the value of your votes... whether they bestow a penny or a pound is directly related (I just paused SV because my VP dropped below 70%). You have put your finger on the real problem with voting bots - they tend to devalue the process, which is intended to bestow rewards for good content - but that's what happens when a perception of financial reward is dangled in front of content providers.

my vote right now is $.07 @ %15
I spent the last several months with an imperceptible vote power $.001 @ %100
kinda makes me wonder as to what the best strategy is?

so I decided I don't have any stragtegy....just vote when I feel like it.

yup..bots have degraded the system..they attract spam.

Not only does it encourage spam it takes votes away from those who deserve it (the ones working very hard to earn pennies per post). If this continues, I wouldn't be surprised that a lot of people become discouraged and leave. Think about it: Why waste 4 hours making a great post that earns 8 cents when you could have earned way more than that at a minimum wage job! Take the difference between job earnings and post earnings and simply BUY Steem with it. Keep doing that and eventually you too can be a whale!

How a decline in members will affect the whales is something I don't know because I don't know if the number of posts made directly affects the amount of Steem produced each day. I assume there is some relationship, otherwise why bother promoting Steem at all?

the amount of steem being produced every day is constant.
the conversion to dollars is by voting.
that's the way it was set up.

If the amount produced is constant, then fewer participants can claim greater portions. Why advertise then? Would it not be better to keep quiet and hoard it?

no clue.

I registered with Steemvoter today but only got 3 rules?!?! Don't they like me?

If memory serves, the number of allowed rules is determined by your SP. As your SP increases, you will be allowed more rules. (Hang in there!) Register on steemit.chat and use the steemvoter.com channel for support.

Thanks for this information :)

How I do this

Open an account, make rules for as many as allowed (varies depending on your SP) and run it.

To find Whales for your initial Rules, use your TRENDING tab - that's how to find the ones you want to vote for. Follow them, add them to your Rules.

thank. just do as ur command.

what is checkbox for guild? im not found anything on FAQ

From your dashboard:

What is the guild options? The guild option is an extra vote each day given to the best post of the day. Discussion for this will be in the public steemvoter.com channel on steemit.chat.
Feel free to opt-out of this option if it doesn't suit you.

oic thanks.. you really helping

Great to see you're getting positive results so far, and good tips. Although I do like to vote on friends as well as whales just to be nice. ;-)

Keeping an eye on voting power is definitely important. It's easy to accidentally drain yourself too fast, especially if you setup rules for people who post multiple times per day. I've managed to tweak my rules so that I'm constantly hovering around 70-75% these days.

Happily, several of my Rules are for whales who are also steemit friends, but (in terms of helping minnows get a leg up) the real power in steemvoter is its ability to increase SP, and increase it quickly, and that's why I've recommended picking whales...they're the ones who produce the rapid increase in curation rewards. Thanks to steemvoter, I've added over 100 SP in a very short timespan...and that's a BIG deal for minnows.

Cool, way to kill two birds with one stone!

Those sure are fantastic results! I'm glad the service has been so beneficial to you so far. Wishing you, and all of us, much continued success!

Only lets me have five rules.

As I understand it, Rules are determined by your VP. The more VP you accumulate, the more Rules you can have. Use the steemvoter.com channel on steemit.chat for more information. I should add that Steemvoter will help you increase your VP, which will increase the number of allowable rules (for free users).

I really need to find where i put my steemit.chat password. A lot send to happen there and I was really tired when i made the account.

Oops :-( --there IS a "forgot your password" link on the login page. Tried using it?

I'm pretty sure it's in my phone or on my laptop. I've just been busy with #steemitvan to actually do too much with steemit:)

Again - use the "forgot my password" link and the problem is solved.

Amazing boost in June.
Where can I see my stats as you showed in graphs.
Also can you please explain what are these vests and how it benefit steemit users.

Thanks

Here is the 30-day update. The data can be found here:

My data is here:

Thanks for the link and I checked. I have about 23k vests. What does that mean?

How this vest thing works? Will appreciate your answer.

I was trying in steemit search but getting very old blog post.
Thanks for the help

Sometimes the old stuff is the best stuff - think 10-yr-old Stilton Cheese :-)
