The world of Steemit, colorful!

Pardon? What kind of headline should this be?
Still drunk from yesterday, Hen ? Well i don’t drink alcohol so i can assure you it’s nothing like that.

I would like to talk about a different way Steem can be used, maybe even should be used.

For many Steem is a way of earning money. It is very motivating to get a direct monetary feedback for the content that you just created. Anyways, for some this is the goal they want to achieve and maybe one of the main reasons for joining Steem in the first place.

Steemit is more than just earning money

Right from the start i was quite skeptical about Steemit in general. To put it in a different way, if there is money in the game or some goods that are having a financial relevance, people tend to behave… well let’s say maybe not in the best of ways.

But i really was quite excited about the linkage between a Social Network and a Blockchain. After some time reconsidering i finally joined Steemit a few months back.

Nowadays i use Steemit on a daily basis, not to push some posts or publish content or to direct an army of bots. No. I connect with people that are motivated to create different kinds of projects.

One of these projects is SteemPi

SteemPi is in principle a Steemit TV-Box that shows various informations about Steem / Steemit, Steemit-Apps and Cointicker. For all those that want to see more please take a look at the preview to version 2.

In the next couple of days, there may be a something you don’t want to miss... a small hint, you can win something that gets send to your home address! Also there will be news about version 2 that is currently being tested.

But going back to the original topic of this post. During 3 weeks, 2 strangers living in different timezones and talking in different mother languages created a project, sketched the designs and developed a prototype (version 1) of SteemPi.

An idea turned into a close cooperation and finally into a real product.

Steemit for sure has its own problems, we should not forget that, but there is also a truckload of potential only waiting to be released. This platform is really brimming with ideas, opinions and a lot of very creative people.

Out of a small assistance evolved more than i ever could have imagined.
Today, as a small surprise, i received a package out of Hong Kong for instance.

Wie bitte? Was ist das denn für ein Titel?
Mensch Hen, zu tief ins Glas geschaut? Da ich keinen Alkohol trinke, kann ich euch beruhigen.

Ich möchte einmal von einer anderen Art erzählen, wie man Steemit nutzen kann, vielleicht sogar sollte.

Für viele ist Steemit ein Weg Geld zu verdienen. Es ist schön, für den Content den man produziert sofort was zurück zu bekommen. Jedenfalls für einige ist dies das Ziel und wahrscheinlich auch einer der erste Gründe sich hier anzumelden.

Steemit ist mehr als nur Geld verdienen.

Ich war von Anfang an recht skeptisch was Steemit angeht. Sagen wir mal so, wenn es um Geld geht oder um gewisse Güter mit Wert, dann verhält sich der Mensch schon einmal recht … ich sag mal, arschig.

Ich fand es aber interessant dass ein SocialNetwork sich mit der Blockchain verbindet. Nach ein wenig zögern habe ich mich vor paar Monaten dann doch angemeldet.

Mittlerweile nutze ich Steemit eigentlich täglich, nicht um irgendwelche Posts zu pushen oder publishen oder Bots zu delegieren. Ich vernetze mich eher mit Leuten die Lust haben verschiedene Projekte ins Leben zu rufen.

Eines dieser Projekte ist zum Beispiel SteemPi.

SteemPi ist im Prinzip eine Steemit TV-Box welche verschiedene Informationen über Steem / Steemit, Steemit-Apps und Cointicker anzeigt. Wer mehr wissen möchte darf gerne einmal unser Preview auf Version 2 anschauen.

Ich empfehle auch die nächsten Tage ein Auge drauf zu haben. Kleiner Hinweis, es gibt bald was zu gewinnen und die Version 2 ist auch fertig und in der Testphase ;-)

Aber zurück zu meinem Ursprungspost. In drei Wochen haben zwei wildfremde, mit unterschiedlichen Zeitzonen und unterschiedlicher Sprache ein Projekt auf die Beine gestellt.

Aus einer Idee wurde eine engere Kooperation und ein richtiges Produkt.

Steemit hat seine Probleme, dies sollten wir nicht vergessen, es hat aber auch genauso viel potential. Hier tummeln sich viele Meinungen, Einstellungen, viele Ideen und viele kreative Leute.

Aus einer kleinen Hilfestellung entwickelte sich mehr als ich mir vorstellen konnte.
Als kleine Überraschung kam heute zum Beispiel ein Paket aus HongKong an :-)
