REASON BEHIND THE REASON

in #steemit6 years ago

I have written a few motivational posts in the past and no this isn't another one. I know a few of you like them and even say I am "preaching again".

I was thinking about why I wrote a few but as much as they are motivational for everyone they are more for me I think. I have no one pushing me and believe that I am pushing myself subconsciously. A bit like someone kicking themselves in a round about way.

This place is tough and takes a grueling work load to get going from scratch. Time and total dedication is needed when you have limited skills like myself. I am no writer and am learning and trying to hone some skills each and every day. A duck out of water would be an understatement and the biggest person who is shocked with me blogging is me.

I arrived on here more by error, and wow was it luck. I had no idea and took me some time to realize what was going on. I am no techie genius like most of you and if I can do this then someone with more skills has no excuses. I compare the first 6 months to climbing a very steep mountain with some of you throwing me some ropes to help me along the way. I won't name you all yet but you know who you are and what you have done is so appreciated by me. You made a huge difference and helped me along ,probably my hardest challenge I have encountered. Nothing compares to this really and it is constant which makes it even harder. I am glad I never invested and started from scratch as I have been through the tough times and come through the other side with a group of friends.

This experience has taught me so much about myself and what is possible. I really want to succeed and leaving nothing to chance by spending every available minute doing something on here. While Steem has less value than when I started I am not going to sit back like others and wait ,but actually do more .

happy Steeming and power up.

I think that writing motivational posts can help you internalise concepts or principles (that's what I find anyway) plus others can benefit from your notes too :)

You are probably right about that.

My sentiments exactly. My blog posts have become a personal challenge that is reaping rewards figuratively and literally. I feel like I'm finding my voice after dwelling too long on the negative aspects of life in general. A friend convinced me to sign up for the money but I've found that I'm enjoying the engagement and making some cool acquaintances along the way

Everything has been a challenge to me but I am finding my feet now and more relaxed. The social side is what it is all about and once more see that then they will be ok.

The experience for me is not comparable to anything ive come across in my life, ive never connected with people like this, never brought out myself like this, the list is endless, im in about my 9th month here, and its as if ive not even started!

I think it's because you are around like minded people on your level.

Well true, you have a point, but then again among these youve mentioned, youre one of my most frequent commenters, the way you share your thoughts and engage with me, these things mean a lot, mean so much. I appreciate you big time

Hey @cryptoandcoffee how far do you think we can grow by year end? If we manage to grow a bit more I'll like us to start a group like thealliance

Hi empress. I reckon we can hit at least 1000 SP by Christmas all depending on payouts obviously. I have never heard of them. How does it work?

Wow...am surprised. Check them out @thealliance. They are basically a community that support each other. I would've applied to join but I want us to build ours instead

Ok. We just build our own then but we need SP. Obviously we delegate to our new community account and get our gang together. We have a few months to work on it but have a core group already to start.

Exactly. I hope we do hit that 1000SP target. Matter of fact, am going to consciously work towards it now

I dont think 1000 SP will be overly difficult to achieve as Steem is expected to drop quite a bit further. If it does go to 50 -60 c range I don't know what it will be like on here . I am sure who is here now will stay but lets wait and see. It may not get that bad as know one can be that good at predicting surely. If he is right though it is nice to know that there is someone here who knows what is going on.

Do one post from busy.org every day as it will get you an extra 30 - 40 c per day from busy.pay.

Have major trust issues with these apps. Maybe in time though

When Steem goes down that is where most people go it seems. They are fine and there are no issues. I am the fussiest one as I was hacked on Binance

What is your user name.I am trying to get you in somewhere that will help you grow.

https://discord.gg/p39ZbHh. use the link. it is a link into helpie. I will be in there tonight. Basically a small community aiming for 500 members currently just over 300 with a curation trail. They have extra in house curation handing out delegations and steem etc. Come and see it will help you immensely.
