Recent Upgrades of steemit popular bots: Minnowbooster and Randowhale, are they better now?
In my last blog I talked about four types of upvote bots, specially, POPULAR INSTANT BOTS such as @minnowbooster and @randowhale, their limitations and challenges. They are so popular that once they are online their voting power (VP) drained up quickly, they had backlogs and went offline. With recent upgrades, things seem to be moving smoothly.
Interestingly, @minnowbooster recently received huge 2M STEEM from investor @freedom and looking for sweet spot for voting power. I think 1-5 SBD is good direction specially for minnows from earlier 5 SBD minimum amount to be sent. After the new limit (15 SBD per week), its voting power is increasing but slowly. Also, it is almost instant form last week's long delay (almost 7hours). That is very good news for @minnowbooster users.
When @minnowbooster's VP will reach to 80-90% then the voting benefit would be almost 2.5 times and more. It would be interesting to see whether @minnowbooster will maintain the cost to similar amount or not.
The @randowhale have made some recent changes such as not voting on comments and sleep when voting power decreases to around 98.4%. Recent demands after lowering to 0.5SBD @randowhale have faced huge demands. Due to the demand, it went to weeklong sleep to recover VP. Still when it came back, there were huge backlogging and votes were delayed and in some cases missing (which were solved through support)
After recent strategy, it seems to be working well. Looks like @randowhale is online 70-80% time and voting is almost instant. @randowhale made two more accounts @randowhale1 and @randowhale0 to make efficient parallel voting. Also, investors perspective (@randowahle owners), it is returning much more ROI than pervious algorithms due to it being Online most of the time.
There is another INSTANT upvote bot @polsza which is online this Tuesday.

Overall, it seems to be good time for INSTANT UPVOTE bots. What do you think do we need more INSTANT upvote bots like them? What will happen if we have more game changer investors like @freedom delegate to create more upvote bots?
